I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. But if it's made in canonical, it will be Amazon spyware. So if I'm going to be spied anyway Id continue to use android as their spyware provide real services (like Google maps, gmail or translate)

I'm running it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. With my stylus hovering over the screen I can move the mouse pointer. Tapping the screen clicks left mouse button. Thats good enough for me so I haven't tried using bluetooth input devices.
A good idea is installing hacker keyboard app so you can have the full range of character keys.
