Looking for a good camera to record a show with. On a bit of a budget so bare that in mind. Have you guys had any good portable ones that had outstanding picture quality and decent mic quality?

mind sharing that budget? hard to give you any advice based on a figure i've no clue about.
Secondly, you should be able to figure this shit out for yourself damn it, you want to record a "show" how much experience do you even have recording a show if you dont knwo about any types of cameras or what's in your budget.
Mics in any camera are terrible you'll need lapel mics or a shotgun mic, everyone in video production knows that audio quality is more important than video quality, "decent" mic isn't going to cut it, that's more money there, is this show featuring you are you in a room? do you have any lighting equipment? what about stands for the camera, stands for lighting? are you using a mounted mic on the camera a boom mic?
is this show outside? you going to ask what time of day is best for that next?

What kind of show? Sit around the house and talk to the camera? Walking about run&gun shooting?
Don't obsess over getting the *right* camera. Just get a fucking camera and go. As you keep going, you can always upgrade to something better. If you have a favorite Youtube channel, (or even one you don't like, but at least acknowledge their production quality is good,) see if they say what gear they use.
If anything, look for a camera with a microphone input so you can plug in external mics. You can have quality 4k razor sharp focus, but if your audio is trash, people will leave.

You can go for a reflex camera. I'm really happy with my EOS700D to record videos.
