What's the big deal with 10? I've ran into no problems (apart from the Runtime Broker), its much faster, the start menu is back, and there are applications to stop it from tracking you. There is literally no problem with 10.

I generally like what they've done, but I have noticed that very heavy disk usage sometimes locks everything up, including the mouse and keyboard. Which is inexcusable in 2016. Also, Windows Defender seems to lock the entire filesystem indefinitely if you decide to disable it while it's scanning files.

It's bloated, comes with a sleuth of things I would have to either disable, or delete, and it just looks generally unappealing.
I don't play vidya, I don't have a loveboner for Win7, so I have no use for this, because #!++ has been perfect for my PCs so far.
With that being said, I remember some anon posting the Server version awhie back, and It looks to sole many of those problems.
If push comes to shove, and i'm forced to ditch my distro for windows, I probably would go for that, if Win8.1 doesn't fancy my tastes.

How do I disable the "feature" where the thing will decide to restart itself and spend an hour doing updates right in the middle of whatever I was doing?
