Well sure, if they own a phone there's a signficant possibility it's 32bit. If your iPhone is older than a 5S it's 32bit, if you own a Nexus 5 or below, Oneplus anything, you're running 32bit.

Almost all modern OSs come as 64bit. If you own a modern Mac of any sort, or a Thinkpad, there is a high chance you're 64. If you're running anything higher than Windows XP there is a high chance you're 64

If you aren't running games or producing content it probably doesn't matter anyway

Nothing wrong with that if your CPU is 32bit too.

Posted from my MIPS R3000 workstation.

Nigga my media PC needs to play movies and nothing else. What would I gain from having a 64-bit OS on a system that literally only uses VLC, Chrome and Deluge?
>>
>>54951163
why is it so much smaller? is webm compression really that good compared to images?
>>
>>54950604
16 bit for ever
>>
all my laptops are pre lenovo thinkpads
they all run 32 bit OS's
>>
>>54951412
Yep. Typical compression for virtually the same visual is usually 10-20X compared to a PNG.

I gained 44X compression using OP's image so he probably saved that PNG with the fastest compression possible (ie near TIFF file size).

What would be better would be WebP but currently it's not allowed on 4chan.

it's only a meme if you have less than 4GB ram

Not even Gentoo is capable of running as a 64-bit OS on a 32-bit CPU, anon.

I don't need 64GB of ram, 32GB is just fine as a maximum. >>54950604

well obviously not 64bit, but linux with pae is superior to win xp 32bit on an old machine with enough ram.
