Not to worry, they use very standard mechanism for attaching the buds, I just replaced the buds with the rubbery ones that are issued with my Sennheiser IEMs and the comfort is through the roof, so if you have your own buds that you prefer I'd highly recommend swapping them over
Build quality is nice, the braided cable is very soft and just feels like some paracord or something you'd use on a tent.

Don't get these mipow ones, I bought one. The app is awful, the bulb is dim, and it seems to have seperate leds for RGB and warm white.

Reviews for the P9000 have been very positive but I don't want to get chinked again and get loose buttons and misaligned panels like I did with the Umi Iron. I'm coming from ZUK Z1 which is rock solid build wise.
