Is Swift the future?
It's the future android needs but not the one it deserves
Why would it?

What the fuck AMD? I'm already thinking of returning this crap and just getting a 1080 now. I wanted to give you a chance but this shit card is WORSE than my old ass 980.

Heys /g/uys,
i've got a problem. My Sony Xperia Z3 doesn't recognize my (apple) in-ear headphones anymore, since yesterday. I tried my Audio Technica ATH-M50x on my phone and they worked. I though that the headphones were broken, so i tried them on the phone of my brother and they worked. Does someone know what the problem is?
Thanks
Don't buy shit tier in-ear headphones
(((apple)))
GOOD GOY
might be because of the 4 pole connector

Nice! Now i know that the 4chan servers are utter shit!

It's a safeguard to prevent retards like you from raping their servers.
How do y'all watch your movies? Right now I'm using Kodi. I'm thinking of setting up Emby Server but then I'm not sure how I should play them, since emby theater is paid AFAIK.
Pay for it cuck
plex via debian server + roku
I just plug my labtop's HDMI port into my TV's HDMI port.
So /g/, I bought a new computer setup with the intent on using my old hardrive. My new computer won't boot up windows. Any possible way to get around this without buying a new hard drive and copy of windows?
>>54908679
no
windows is tied to the old motherboard, you need a new key.
>>54908679
Probably difference of drivers/components, and/or different boot settings (AHCI on/off, UEFI boot on/off, and such). You might need to change BIOS settings accordingly, or use repair console. Try if it boots into safe mode or whatever it is called these days.
Obviously you don't need to buy new HDD, just reinstall and new activation is needed.
>>54908711
People say it is usually possible to get stuff to activate, over phone at worst. I never tried, so you have to ask somebody else what to do and what story to make up (best idea is probably that the motherboard got fried by power surge and your new stuff is replacement hardware put into the same PC).
Who else uses this?
I would if it was actually on f-droid.

Ignore the microstutter, it's just a meme bro
'One In Billions' Chance We're Not Living In A Computer Simulation
What did he mean by this?
He's drunk on success and hype, he can say any stupid shit and the media will lap it up boosting TSLA in the process.
Well, if your definition of a computer is incredibly vague and nonsensical, then he's not wrong. I mean, the universe is a "computer" of sorts.

Elon has more hair now than he did in the 90s.
Normies think something is outdated if it's 2 years or more old (e.g. the Samsung galaxy SIII is now "old" tech).
I bought one used in 2013 (because poorfag) and now I dropped it (stupid).
Would /g/ try to replace the screen (pic related) or would /g/ (especially neo-/g/) throw it away and buy the ehrmagerd-latest GALAXY S7 Phone ...
You know ... planned obscolescence is a thing! So HW-manufacturers don't make it as easy to repair something compared to 20 to 30 years ago.
Would you recycle or buy new?
>>54908259
*obsolescence
>>54908259
repair it
Unless you're a poorfag you should buy a new one of course.
So recently I picked up learning Python as it seems to be recommended quite a bit.
I've worked through the codecademy courses, "how to learn python the hard way" and "automate the boring stuff with python", and am currently working through brainteasers/code challenges on codewars... This is all fun and great but where can I find some beginner projects that I can work on? How can I apply this practically? Should I pick up a framework like Django/Flask/Pyramid, which seems like a very popular choice for people learning Python?
Guess I'd...

Why is smartphone tech so stagnate ?
>>54908032
Its topped out.
Theres only so thin you can make shit before it starts to become shit.
>>54908060
Every single phone is now
5.5" no smaller or bigger
Absolutely no reason going from a note 2 5.5" to another
5.5" phone
I don't cafe about gimmicks or resolution
Don't need 2k 4k or even 1080p to shitpost on 4chan
>>54908032
>Why is smartphone tech so stagnate
It isn't, it's just really saturated so software works on everything.
Hardware is moving by leaps and bounds but there's no real reason to buy a new phone every year.
google is retarded however, no desktop environment for Android, they should get on that
Let's say you have a torrent stuck at 99,99%
Would it be possible to get the missing 0,01% by guessing it and then hashing until it verifies?
>>54907990
I guess, but depending on the size of the torrent that could take longer than the age of the universe. Brute forcing is never a good idea.
Theoretically possible, yes. But it'd require highly sophisticated neural network algorithms to determine the final hash.
instead of downloading the torrent, could I just randomly arrange bits and then hash until it verifies?
what is wrong witchu?
