If I want to start as a freelance web designer who makes websites for people or companies, what essential steps should I take now? I'm confused on what websites to use first, what to learn first (html5, java), etc.

Forgive the noob nature of this question. What's the best way to stay anonymous online? VPN, Tor, seven proxies? I understand outlaw groups of various ideologies have Twitter, blogs, facebook and other social media yet remain anonymous. How do they hide the ip, what is even a MAC address? How do I cover my tracks online?
>>54933366

Pick one.

Use a handle like dragon_hacker_94 they'll never figure out that it's really you
I want a silent pc.
not quiet, because you fucks have different definitions of quiet
>it doesn't bother me!
>I can tolerate it!
FUCK that. I want silent.
fucking how? submerged pc? I saw liquid cooling but you still need fans. I want zero noise.
Just use your iphone.

Ur dumb. An iPhone would say image.png
(standing up against dumb people, nor standing up for Apple)

Practiacally impossible, unless you get some ultra-low power hardware.
Get a passive watercooling radiator, and watercool pretty much everything in your computer.
Get a fanless PSU.
Remove all HDDs and get only SSDs.
You'll pretty much only have the noise of the water pump, but those are typically incredibly quiet.
However, with passive watercooling, your cooling performance isn't going to be super great, you'll have this big-ass radiator outside of your case, and it'll be expensive as fuck.
Why would someone encrypt their drives when they can just physically hide their data? What is wrong from hiding your HDDs in a secure location where no sane human would look? I'm truly wondering, I don't have any data important enough to bother doing something like this, but time and time again people get their encryption keys beaten out of them, but that's of no use if they can't find the drives...

>in a secure location where no sane human would look
Because it would smell like balls.
64gb microsd cards are now something like $20.
you can literally hide those anywhere

Hi, I'm making an app and am wondering would it got viral if I managed over 100 downloads in the first day? I have friends with big twitters and think I could hit at least a thousand. It's a game like doodle jump or dropple. Would this kind of momentum get it featured?
>>54933255
I meant 1000 downloads.
What
>>54933266
Are there any figures as to how many downloads will make an app take off? Or do you just throw it out there and hope for the best. I know the first post didn't really make any sense.
>cost to buy windows 10 from microsoft $119
>cost to buy a laptop with windows 10 on it $89
can it not be moved from the cheap computer to a more expensive one and linux put on the cheap computer?

Just get it for free by KMS activating a copy of Windows 7 and upgrading it.
>>54933203
Could you not buy Windows 8, install that and upgrade for free?
>>54933203
What version of windows 10 is on the laptop?
I know when I got a netbook years ago, it had a dumbed down versiono f windows 7 witha bunch of functions removed.
I COULDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE BACKGROUND. I had to install a third party fix because I didn't want to put a pirate copy of windows on my brand new netbook for fear of driver compatibility issues.
I was less tech literate then
>set up a small media server in my parents living room so they can watch movies and netflix and shit

I know that feeling anon. I choose to completely disregard my parents' opinions, because I'm not going to let that shit warp me. When it comes to tech, they have no idea what they're talking about, whether it's a complement or a criticism.
Actually, scratch that. If I keep at it, I'm going to become the next Bill Gates.
Well why aren't you?
Name something similar to this, but one that actually respect muh privacy

Hello /g/. I'm interested in learning as much as possible about cryptography.
So far I learned some basic things like Diffie-Hellman or RSA and a little bit about the applications of cryptography (e.g. SSL or blockchains) but I feel like I'm lacking the bigger picture.
What are some good, structured resources you'd recommend on the subject? I'd like to learn about both, the theory and the applications.

This is a rough outline for the build I'm planning. The GPU is a placeholder for a GTX 1070.
Any advice?

(TP-LINK Wireless N300 USB Adapter)

I have that same one. You can crack WPA/WPA2 wireless with it.
