Guys my phone is stuck on "encryption unsuccessful" screen can anybody help?
how does i into pirate on android.?
Got my first Android phone. Do I need to "root" it (Android 'jailbreak'?) Is there an Android equivalent of AppCake?
Post your comfy setups
Why does Linux Mint get so much hate?
Is it because it's entered Frankendebian territory?
Just a reminder that if you use Kali Linux you are one or multiple of the following
>A 12yr old kid trying to look edgy but can't even operate a terminal
>A man child you wants to be like daddy Snowdon
>Has a poor taste in operating systems
>Thought the dragon looked cool so they clicked that one
What's the best terminal emulator for Linux right now?
I'm an emacs user so I don't want any of that vim key config bullshit.
I used Sakura for many years. These days, I don't care about what terminal emulator I use anymore, as long as the fonts are readable.
Though there was nothing special about Sakura. It just used libvte and GTK and was okay.
Want to use Linux.
Need Adobe software for school.
Winblows crampin' my style.
I got graduation money to spend. VR headsets are cool, but the whole DRM thing makes me reluctant to buy until that's all figured out. The Asus PG279Q monitor is cool, but there are QC issues, 4K seems to be the way things are headed, and nothing can push 144+ Hz at 1440p anyway. What do I buy, /g/?
What is the difference between an i7 and the latest Xeon models
Is an Xeon more powerful?
locked multipliers, but on a bunch of Xeon motherboards you can link CPU clusters
theoretically with a GPU it would be more powerful than your average gaymer desktop but it would be a waste of power and time if you are economic and you are running it from home.
Once again, I make this humble request.
Does anyone have any actual numbers for the GPU units sold by AMD and Nvidia?
How many GTX 970s were sold so far? How many 980s?
If you took all of the discrete GPUs priced over $100 sold in the last 3 years would it even total over 1 million units?
One way to get a basic idea of the sales numbers is to look at sales of games.
Metal Gear Solid V on steam has about 917,251 owners. The Witcher III has about 1.3 million.
Anyone who owns these games probably owns a fairly decent discrete GPU. It might be possibly to play them on integrated graphics, but not very well.
But the owners of these games could have cards that go back more than three years. You could play Metal Gear Solid V on a GTX 460, and probably even older hardware.
Samefagging aside, this would be interesting to know
This has been wracking my brain for a while... How the fuck do I explain to a normal person that a CPU's performance is more than simply whatever the clock speed is?
Can anyone help me come up with some analogies that'd help them understand the different variables involve (e.g., hyperthreading/pipelning of instructions)? I can't think of any good ones because there's too many factors. Plus I am dumb.
tell them clock speed is how many times a drummer hits the drum
tell them ipc is how many hits he can do whenever his arms go down
tell them multi-core is having two+ drummers and two+ drumsets
tell them hyperthreading is having two drummers and a single drumset
Anime Micro Devices!
Can't even update windows. It's stuck at 0% forever.
I expect substandard quality from something like Linux, but not Windows.
When will Windows die?
You fucked up your updates somewhere along the line. Google the problem you have and read the answers yourself. It's a common mistake when updating a lot at once. Stop getting angry at operating systems.
What's a good desktop to put on Arch when I install it?
I preferably want an actual DE, not a WM (i3, awm, etc.), I'm thinking like GNOME, XFCE4, etc. And I would like to blur stuff, so I may go XFCE4 with Compiz Reloaded. IDK. That's why I'm asking for suggestions by other people.
How the fuck do you remove ads on this app. Everytime I'm listening to a playlist on background I keep getting ads by some fag called Tyler Oakley and that dumb asian chick who role plays her mum and dad. I even paid for the remove ad feature and that didn't do shit
Root, Lucky Patcher; block ads in hosts and patch the app to block ads on it.
Now go fuck yourself for not googling this shit.
