Are there any cheap phones that are good at emulating stuff?
probably something on >>55027182

try gentoo
>>55030246
If all you care about is the emulation, just get a PSP. You should be able to find one easily under $50 at your local pawn shop. Even the 3000 series are all permanently flashable now and you can get an adapter off amazon to use normal microSD cards in it. I've used up to 32GB and I've heard tell of people using even 128GB cards with no issues.

my fellow fedoras,
What's g's opinion on smartwatches ?
I love my pebble time. Wouldn't go for anything with less than 5 day battery life.
Notifications on my wrist are an unnecessary luxury, but it is nice having my phone constantly on silent, and being alerted by a friendly buzz on the wrist.
Step and sleep tracking is also lovely.
Useless
So they actually do anything except notifications and tell the time ?
What internal/external hard drive brands are not shit?
I've had 4 internal and 1 external seagate drives fail on me this past year
Try hgst or Hitachi , seagate is shit an will always be shit.
>>55050767
I don't even know anymore. I have a Seagate and a Samsung that have been working wanders for years for I had multiple WD that died in a year or so.
If I were you, I'd go for an SSD.

Why do you have to have root rights to beep complicated sounds with the PC speaker in Linux?
>>55049478
Because you are accessing hardware directly.

system calls
Why would you, by default, on a multi-user operating system, want to permit ANY user connected to it to cause the machine to generate annoying beeping sounds?
>GDDR3
Can someone please explain this to me?
How can desktop ddr3 ram be GDDR3 ram?
GDDR ram is ram of your graphics card
>>55049467
Which is why I'm confused as to why system ram is labeled as GDDR3 in a pre-built with a dgpu.
Hey, newfag here with a question for you, I just got Ubuntu 16.04 and have it along with windows 8.1, now I'm trying to get Google Chrome but I just cant get anything on the Ubuntu Sotware, although before it didn't even showed the rectangles with dots, is that something normal, like it takes time to update or I'm just doing something stupid? Hope you can help a brother out
Go to the chrome web page and download the .deb, double click and hit install.
>>55049754
Tried that, not installing it, when hitting install nothing happens, tried commands but didn't work either
It might be in one of the ubuntu repos not enabled by default. Try to enable those in your software system and update and try to install chromium like that. I believe it's under the name chromium instead of chrome.
