>The best app store for Android
that's not apptoide or blackmart
>>55075887
Because everyone steals apps from small developers and is ok risking malware to "save" $0.99?
And before you start "I'm not in the US, I don't get apps!" I can't imagine a small developer wouldn't release their app worldwide. I don't really have a problem with people screwing EA out of money, but a small developer needs their 70%

your malware stores don't count
Is there a free as in freedom alternative to fraps?
I want to take screenshots, record video and see my fps counter in an idiot-proof and clutter-free package. Does such a thing exist?
Just torrent fraps

>tfw I fell for the LCD-tv meme and chucked my old, old CRT
>tfw I now want a HD CRT
Why did I do this?
P.S. Pic is not of my tv, thank God.
>>55075746
>thank God.
Why? Sony Trinitron TVs were nice.
CRT is objectively superior to any other display technology.
How do I use veracrypt? How many of you use it? How does it work? Is there other crypts like this software better than truecrypt? On Windows 10, truecrypt is incompatible version and I have it installed but some features that it says it's "buggy"
Truecrypt is outdated. Veracrypt is just like truecrypt but it's more secure.

Wew lad, the N (S) A shills are active today.
Veracrypt is basically Truecrypt continued.
Works almost identically to Truecrypt, and even the GUI is extremely similar.
I can't afford a PC. What do?
Don't build a PC.

Welcome to /fglt/. We are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls...

Stallman, you lost your little autistic naming squabble. Get over it.
So is Ubuntu the way to go if you haven't really touched Linux in the last 6 or so years? And even back then I never used Linux for any extensive periods of time. I don't really play games anymore so I'm thinking of switching from Windows permanently, but my interest in all of this isn't as big as it used to be so I don't think I'll have the patience to learn stuff from scratch and really get deep into it again. I just want it to be a fairly painless experience where I can get into doing my regular stuff quick without having to set up the system for several hours.
So I have a font and I don't want it to be bold, ever especially in GTK applications. Is there an easy workaround or am I doomed to change my GTK theme file?
I'd also like to know how to set a fallback font (for non-latin characters, for example), any tips?
I pay to decrypt ransomware infected machines. It's far easier than restoring from backups. I just pass on the charge to my clients.
Why can't they pay themselves?

Smart.
You are funding the people who write that satanic software though.
What are some free alternatives to PeerBlock?
>>55074950
Common sense
>>55074950
What's wrong with peerblock?
it only blocks IPs that are in a list
I don't think there's a need for other similar softwares
Peerblock is useless
Why is Apple going crazy about USB-C and all the Apple fanboys seem to support the decision, when literally all devices are still on the old USB?
What is the point in having a "future-proof" device if it's not present-proof?
Aesthetics
>>55074822
>when literally all devices are still on the old USB
This isn't true, at all.
Apple is pushing technology forward. It will and always has been a painful process, but they're the only company that can do it and we should be thanking them for it.
>What is the point in having a "future-proof" device if it's not present-proof?
USB C is the present.

Someone has to take the first step anon.

IT'S HAPPENING
>>55074654
Why is this good? Benchmarks don't show anything amazing.
>>55074703
1. More write cycles
2. cheaper $/GB
That's why it fucking matters
Also
3. SSDs using m.2 or anything else non-SATA will be faster
>>55074703
It's the way they are building it they are making cheaper chips that are larger in capacity then Samsungs chips without sacrificing performance and price constantly making the Price per Gigabyte smaller making the SSD market more affordable to both the users and large companies.
