I heard Dropbox managed to make Richard Hendrick's middle-out compression technology happen in real life? Is it true

I've tried Windows 10 for a while. It's not that bad. However, I still like my old Win7 more. The main concern is, since I own a crappy laptop, that my Win7 drivers need to be certified by the producer in order to install them. Win 10 skips this problem by installing the newest versions on it's own. Which system should I use?
>>55592386
windows 7 installs and updates drivers as well, occasionally and for some devices, not all
depends on which manufacturers put their drivers in the windows update thing
you can also uninstall win7 driver signature checking. isn't win10 even more strict in that regard?
So far I had a major problem with the graphics driver which was simply crashing every once in a while since I couldnt get a newer version than a build from 2013. Win 10 somehow skipped that and installed a brand new 2016 driver.
>>55592386
Use win 10 and then fuck off to reddit
No one that's remotely decent at computers would get windows 10 since it's broken, buggy, slowest performance compared to 7 and 8.1, bloated, unable to avoid telemetry
Inb4 mad win10 babys
Why do people still buy iPhones when they have the worst cameras possible? Do people just like blurry shitty photos? I mean you can get the same iPhone camera quality by setting jpg quality to 50% and shaking the phone while it takes the photo. Why pay thousands just to get shitty photos? LMAO
>>55592101
This. Even one of these are better.
Who buys their phone for the camera? It's just a neat little extra your phone is capable of.

How are they going to stop me?

This charter will also give them the power to monitor and log your internet traffic. They could force ISPs to block the use of VPNs and services which allow encrypted communication. Big companies like Facebook will just make their end to end encryption unavailble to UK users. At the very least it's going to become much, much more difficult to have any degree of privacy on the internet once May pushes this stuff through. The attack in France will be a perfect propaganda tool to use in support of it too. Gotta...

Prove to me that the Core X9 isn't the best case on the market right now.
Pro-tip: you can't
>>55592037
it's too big for a lot of people and if you aren't water cooling it will be depressingly empty
the plastic and steel used are rubbish too
the core x5 is a bit smaller but still too big

did I buy a paperweight or are they actually useful at least to browse the interwebs and youtube?
>>55591983
I'm a CS student and my PC is the same specs, and I'm not planning on upgrading soon, so...
>>55591983
Haven't looked anything up, but I'm sure you can probably at least run Snow Leopard if not (Mountain) Lion. So you're good.
>>55591983
Makes for a good paperweight.
If Windows is so great then how come everytime I fix a computer it comes preinstalled with Windows and riddled with malware? A bunch of shitty software that conflicts with other shitty software until you kill the processes. Even OS X falls short to many GNU/Linux operating systems.
>>55591964
Windows can't fix stupid people.
>>55592039
I think Microsoft would've learned from their mistakes by now.
More people using Windows = more problems with Windows
Quit being a faggot and use what you like
By /g/od. Wtf is happening to this computer?
I'm trying to install Lubuntu on it so I decided to check if the memories where ok.
I dint have any problems with Windows but using this Lubuntu test, everything is showing red.
Is this normal?
>>55591865
At first he identified all my Ram but now not only he can't identify, look at the number of errors until now.
Ubuntu broke it, install gentoo.
>>55591865
Dead RAM in an ancient Core 2 Duo build? You don't say.
I wanna start a server to just store files between two computers (starting a small studio) and it would be nice to have a place to just throw and share files.
I was thinking of getting a NAS My Cloud. But I'm not sure if this would fit my needs. I dont need any sort of software or interface, just a place grab and share files with one other computer.
Will this fit my needs? What would be better? Around $300-$350 is my budget
>>55591768
yes that's exactly what you want to get
>>55591768
what is a good sides of NAS never used one before
>>55592022
Quick, dedicated, and high capacity file sharing and storage between all computers on a network. That's pretty much it.

What's the best CM 13 phone that will work on Sprint?

I originally bought a Note 5 (Sprint), but I was stupid and didn't check compatibility (won't work cause of Exynos). Then I bought an S5 (Sprint)... but they are just getting nightly builds and a lot of things don't work.
I had an LG G2 (T-mobile) before. I loved the feel of that and had no software problems...
