Bump.
Wait literally one week for double the performance at the same price.
If you have to pick one of those, get the EVGA, it has better OC capability.

What are you talking about mate?
What is this iMessage meme?
Does people really use this in your country?
Everyone here uses whatsapp (mexico) and everyone on south america too.
In china they use wechat or something in germany they use facebook messenger and the only place i've seen people using imessage is france.
I mean it isnt even that good.
I have an ipad that i could easily use for imessage but it isnt good at all it offers nothing interesting.
Welcome to America, where
>Oh, I use iMessage
>Oh, I use Skype
>Oh, I use Discord
>Oh, I use Telegram
>Oh, I use BBM
>Oh, I use Kik
>Oh, I use FB Messenger
>Oh, I use KakaoTalk
This is a real issue
>>55202396
>>55202415
Exactly.
No love for this? It comes in handy sometimes.
yeah i guess if you want to make scripts, i just google what I want and copy paste

What does /g/ think of the Oneplus 3?
Well, I ordered one

Same, mine is supposed to come tomorrow.

Could
Could you possibly give link to somewhere you could give a review? I feel like every other post about it is a shill of sorts.
is windows 10 really spyware, should I not upgrade? time to upgrade for free is running out
>>55202215
Yes, it is. There is no real reason to upgrade either
just upgrade
win 10 was made for people like you

Unless you're doing something you really shouldn't be and people care, like distributing child pornography, you'll be untouched.
What went wrong?

Lack of substantial CPU performance improvement.
Post your data usage /g/. 17 days left in cycle for me.
Settings... Cellular networks... Access Point Names... APN type
Append dun to the end, don't forget to delimit with a comma.
Enjoy your wifi hotspot without using tether data.
>>55201877
I am currently using FoxFi to circumvent this issue. Will the changes apply if I've already maxed out my limit for the cycle? FoxFi pulls anywhere ranging from 3mb/s to 8/mb/s, where the stock tether pulls 8 consistently. I added ,dun to the APN but it doesn't seem to make a difference, T-Mobile still caps me to an ungodly 15kb/s.
>>55201926
It won't circumevnet throttling, it just fixes it so that your tether data is normal data and you don't have to worry about the 7GB limit or use any shitty hacks like PDA net.

Is there a better alternative to Stack Overflow where it's void of nignogs and people actually understand what the word "temporal" means?

It's called Google you retard
>>55201856
Google is most likely to have results mainly on SO, if the problem is not too standard...

I wouldnt see this as a problem f.am, I would see it as an opportunity. At least now you have a nieche for blogs once you find the answer.
I'm doing a research task on the theory behind superconductors and how they are able be set for practical use on maglev trains. I'm finding it difficult to understand some of the theory and why this phenomenon occurs. Any help is appreciated.
---> Wikipedia/Google
Install Gentoo
>>55201713
You need a charge to disengage the magnet, no such thing as a superconductor. So, they don't work.
Do you use technology to keep track of documents/calendar events/tasks/to-dos?
What's your system like? I'm trying to get a handle on my life.
No because i don't base my life around shitty technology for things i can easily remember.
I don't want my brain to become dependent or addicted to useless technology.
>>55201685
Alright. What about a physical notebook?
>>55201688
i wouldn't be against it, I was actually thinking about starting a dream journal or just a regular one.
So I sweet-talked this computer out of some ladies who work at a thrift store in my town. It's pretty nice. I want to play this port of Marble blast ultra that I found on gamejolt. The thing is, it runs like shit. Does anyone know of a gpu that's not too over-the-top? I just want one to play small games like these.

How much has codding to do with math and why?
Aside from problem solving thinking.
Not talking about basic math like 1+1 1*1 etc.
Depends on what you're doing with it
If you're doing JS stuff, very little math
Most other programming does involve math. Not only in terms of computation and algebraic manipulation, but more theoretical concepts that are "math" but not what you learn in the first year of undergrad. (e.g., git uses graph algorithms)
>>55201568
The difference between the code monkey and the software engineer is the fact that the second is good at math
>>55201568
For business programs, add, subtract, and percentages tax/interest. That's it.
For science, some depending on field.
For games, lots. :^)
Ok /g/
I've decided i want to learn a programming language, for fun.
I've looked over what each can do, and have narrowed it down to either Python or C++
So, for someone who is just going to do fun tests/build fun things, which one should i learn?
>>55201528
>which one should i learn?
shakespear, brainfuck, haskell, lisp or java.
If you just want to have fun, Python
If you want to learn what is probably the most comprehensive and confusing programming language, learn C++. It's closer to the hardware and very rewarding, but you won't see immediate results. You will learn how a computer works though
>>55201528
Python
Either way, get started now instead of worrying about what language to use
Okay /g/ this is starting to piss me off.
For some reason people can hear whatever I am hearing, be it a YouTube video, Twitch stream, and etc. I have tried a few things to no avail.

I guess that meme where it goes Windows -> Arch - > Ubuntu is true, or something like that.

I went Windows -> Ubuntu -> Ubuntu Gnome -> Arch -> Gnome and Arch -> Windows 10 (with cygwin installed and two headless servers)

Windows -> Mint -> Arch
I install whatever flavor of Ubuntu to the family computer though.
However, I cannot stand Unity. Lack of Cinnamon is quite bad for Ubuntu. Mint is kind of out of date so Antergos is the way to go if you want to be lazy with the install but still have Arch and an updated OS with Cinnamon.
