no fuck off
I have one.
My closed loop watercooler pump just died on me,
should I invest on a Noctua fan or is it just a meme?
>>55245680
Just purchase any fan, all the fans are the same. Get one of the cheapest ones for $5.
>>55245702
Some are a little better (higher CFM)
Cougar seems to make the highest CFM ones that don't require odd power supplies.
Get a 212 Evo+ and two 75CFM Cougars.
Works very very well and costs like $60
>>55245680
Noctua fans? Overpriced. Noctua heatsinks? Best purchase ever. Installated without a problem and temps never rise above 75°.

That's objectively wrong. $5 will get you some throwaway sleeve bearing garbage.
For those of you who went to Uni/College how did you survive? What'd you occupy your time with. Im about to be an incoming freshman (inb4 summerfag) and I'm nervous about not knowing anyone, and staying in the with some douche. Where can I find people I can relate to? I'm going for comp sci btw and fuck all of you who say it's a dumbass degree that can be outsourced by pajeets. That could be true, but I know that I've been wanting to learn about computer science from a teacher other than the internet since I was 8. I have two brothers who are comp sci...

I am trying to tranfer data from a laptop to my desktop. The laptop is locked down pretty good, so anything copied to external media is encrypted. Network traffic is monitored, so I can't upload it somewhere or email it without risk.
My initial ideas:
Idea 1
>Zip up data and convert archive to base64
>Write base64 string to text file
>Record a video of the base64 being paged through
>Extract frames from video every 2 secondsComment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Why can't you just take out the hard drive of the laptop
>>55245803
It's most likely encrypted as well. I suppose it's worth a shot as I get closer to the date by which I need this information.
Encrypted traffic?
Give a open source program that can record a screen and is fairly lightweight. You should be able to resize the recording window as well.
I need something to record cucked video players that don't let you download through any program.
>cucked video players
hmm. i don't think that's the proper application of the cuck meme, OP—though I'd be happy to hear you explain how those players, are being cuckolded. Cheers.

Hi, yall.
I escaped from /b/ just to ask you if you could help me out with something.
I have a couple videos from "GoldenShowerPower" 1920x1080 in MKV format. The problem is that it's only playing audio, no video. I tried to convert them to other formats I tried differant convertion soft. but nothing works.
Please take note, that all other MKV and all other video formats are playing with no problems. It's just the one from GoldenShowerPower that wont play.
Please desperate for some help.
Please help
>>55245486
>seek mental help
>>55245861
I dont think mental help will solve my codec problem. Why all the hate? Can someone please help me? It's very strange that only the MKV files from GoldenShowerPower wont work, while all other MKV and other video formats do work.
And no, the videos are not corrupt. I'm really desperate for some help.
Just realized laytex is pronounced Lay-tech. Anyone else pronounced it as Lay-tex?
>>55245475
I pronounced it as Lah-tex
>>55245500
Yeah it can also be pronounced lah-tech but the Tex is supposedly actually tech. Found it interesting
How is this technology?
Why aren't you using a 6 inch phone?
meh.
Note 5 is close enough
>>55245413
Not today Satan
My phone looks about same but is 5.7 inches.
I don't like it.
Can anyone with an HD 7970/7970Ghz tell me how they like it? Is it a good card? Does it run hot, or loud?
I want to just play osu on one monitor, and anime/Firefox on another monitor. I know fuck all of gpus.
This is the list that it will go into, I plan on keeping this for as long as possible.
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/2Bg23F
>>55245352
It's old as shit at this point.
Still a solid card though.
Mine is still chugging along perfectly fine at 1.2GHz after 4 years and mining buttcoins and litecoins for 6 months straight at 90°C
If you can wait a month or two, buy an RX 480 for just $200.
It's miles ahead in performance and has a much lower power draw.
>>55245352
As for temperatures, my Sapphire one reaches around 75°C at 1.2GHz.
At full load you can definitely hear it, not much worse than other GPUs though.
>>55245640
Thanks famo, I came across a deal for one for $80 on local CraigslisT. I have a budget of $400 or so so with the card it's pushing it anyway.
I have hundreds of MP3s I downloaded from Napster and Limewire, back in 2000... transferred from old HDD to new HDD many times.
Listening to them now and they still sound outstanding on a high-end system.
Why do some of you faggots defend lossless audio formats so fervently?
BAITO DESU
metalica128kbps.mp3 sound pretty good right now.
>>55245391
du wat now?
I want to build a great pc for under 700 bucks. I play league of legends and a bunch of valve games as well as a few other old games. I dont play the current gen triple A titles, but I want to make a pc that could do that If i wanted to in the next year or two. I there anything wrong with this build?
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/WpkXHN
I chose a 2GB videocard because I'm not going past 1080p.
Wait for Polaris
I forgot to add the SSD for my os. Heres the updated screenshot
Say i replace the 380 w a 480 which is the same price. Would this make this build good for what i described?
