Why even use anything else when LMMS exists it's free and uses vst
Because Logic 9.

No, and I've never felt burdened by that.

Why is it that ever since USB 3 came out, USB hubs are all flaky failure prone shit? Powered hubs (the most useful ones) in particular are terrible. Connections cutting in and out, getting stuck in USB 2 mode, dead ports, ugh. USB 2 hubs were never this problematic.
I'm not even ordering cheap shit but it makes no difference, it's all crap. It seriously makes me want to give up on adding ports to my laptop, sell the laptop, and build a desktop with a motherboard with plentiful ports instead.
>>55604345
The biggest issue with usb hubs is the powered ones
>get powered hub
>plug it in
>it also sends power back to your computer or w/e you have it plugged in to
This has the potential to (and does in many cases) fry whatever you want it to act as a USB hub for.
>>55604406
That's so shitty. Wow. So basically if you want more powered ports than your computer came with and you can't install a PCI card, you're fucked?
Who the hell thought that was a good idea?
Just got a powered hub from prime day, works great. How long did yours take to start acting up?
Why don't you own a 4TB SSD /g/? What are you, poor?
>>55604266
How did you know?
>>55604266
Since fucking when? I didn't even know they offered such a thing. Though 2TB was max. Eh. Just waiting for 1TB 850 EVO drives to his the $230 range before I buy one. Already have a 120, 250, and 500GB drive.
>>55604266
Yes. That SSD costs more than 8x my laptop did.
So my stupid Windows 10 PC is currently caught in an infinite boot loop after doing god knows what overnight. How the hell do I boot into safe mode or fix this thing?
>>55604229
After like 3 reboots it would go into automatic recovery, if it does not, you have a larger problem.
Boot up a live CD and test your HDD, and see if there is an issue with the partition.
If this is too hard or you don't understand, click the x in the window, and drive to best buy.
>>55604229
You should download a DaRT 10 from Rutracker (https://rutracker.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5220800) and delete latest hotfixes.
>>55604229
your ram is probably shitting the bed, try out another set and see if that works.
Why you keep using this outdated browser? which is poorly optimized for the new technologies
It's not 2006 anymore, anon

i-it's not?
Superior Add-ons, no botnet, doesn't bring my workstation to its knees on startup, doesn't spawn dozens of processes and gobble up gig's of virtual memory when I've only got one tab open.
Because all the other browsers do shit I don't like.
Are you a data hoarder, /g/?
How do you organize your data?
>>55604034
Row everything in /home/user/documents
>>55604034
>Organize
I don't have enough to need to do that yet, but I should probably start. The closest I get to organizing my stuff is installing programs on only internal drives, and keeping all the torrents I've made on internal drives as well.
I hoard a ton of lossy music, but that's about it. Optimally I'd sort them Artist\Album - Year - Encoding Bitrate\Songnumber - Songtitle with a folder jpeg in each but I haven't gotten around to that.

the ultimate meme build
Does it matter how many Watt a Step Down converter can take? I bought some stuff from Japan, both with build in power supplies. For someone in Europe input should be 220-240 right?
Are those Chink ones on ebay trustable?
>>55603998
Europe is 220 volts in general.
>>55604246
That should be the input right?
>>55604351
No wait nvm 230 @ 50 hz. for a moment there I was thinking US current lol.
So I downloaded a movie with a MKV extension. It also came with a sample of the movie like you often get with torrents.
So the sample works fine and is exactly the same format, but the movie does not.
I can't play it or even rename it. If I right click on it, the difference between the movie and the sample of the movie is that it gives me an option to decrypt and verify on the movie but gives me an option to sign and encrypt on the sample movie.
Any ideas how I can make it work? It came up with an error when I click the decrypt option and I'm using...

They're already ramming their cock deep into your fico scores anal cavity
>buy Laptop
>it doesn't come with a dvd backup for the factory default installation
>it doesn't come with a sticker that gives the Windows version and key it comes with on it
What the fuck happened to this shit, /g/? Manufacturers used to give those two things all the time.
That's what happens when you buy a laptop off a chink shit general thread.
>>55603834
>>it doesn't come with a sticker that gives the Windows version and key it comes with on it
That's illegal.
You got scammed.
>>55603834
Check for KMSpico or DASloader, bet one or the other is on there. I got a chinkshit mini PC with that shit on there and got a full refund after I threatened to report them to MS.
God dammit.

learn c# java c++ python c and you are going to be fine. they all feel same at the core except c.
and c++ and c requires somehow more manual memory optimization compared to rest. but free of interpreters and VMs.

I don't know l, OP, but one thing is for sure - programming in the .NET library with C# is comfy as fuck.

I think the last game from Richard Garriot to be releease is made with Unity
I've developped some Gtk+C# big corps softwares and some server API with mono c# and it's pretty nice.
