In January I spilled tea on my laptop. The affected area was the on/off button zone. I let it dry and everything is working perfectly except the screen. The backlight works, but i cant see shit, only colored stripes and shit. I can use it connecting an external screen via hdmi.
If I order a new screen [LG PHILIPS LP156WH3(TL)(S2)] will the laptop screen work, or will it stay as it is atm?
I haven't drank tea ever since
Shameless self-bump. I really need advice, I dont wanna spend 31£ on a screen for nothing
I thought the Nexus 6 was supposed to have shitty battery life
It's June 2016, and this it the only realistic option for a fanless ultra portable laptop, but it's $1300.
Why are manufacturers sleeping on ultra portable?
sup /g/ I come to you with a specific problem:
>I'm an engineer.
>I often need to mark up drawings
>Paper is expensive and wasteful
>large A3 touch screen for pen input
>on some sort of demountable/flat folding stand
Does anything like this even exist?
Windows tablets are too small in general and android/iOS tablets are toys.
pic related, but I hear bad things about them.
Look no mo. Buy a Microsoft Book thing. Long battery life when attached. 3000 x 2000, detachable (short battery), light weight, but is expensive. Of course it has a own which uses the screen as a book hence Book when detached.
>what's your job?
>how old are you?
>how much do you make?
>what's your degree?
post server racks lads
>"Bug" in DRM allows user to save videos they paid for
DRM for videos and other non-interactive media is pointless.
You could literally intercept it between computer and screen, then turn that into a copy.
Even for a laptop, just have the program send the data to a recording device instead of your LCD screen.
I'll wait for you to read the question.
>want to buy a high-end AMD card
>it doesn't exist
>want to buy a high-end Nvidia card
>it doesn't exist
As a side note, I'm going to be really pissed if we can't do 4 way SLI with the 1080Ti.
Aussie here. Have i been completely fucked over by changing from ADSL2+ to the NBN? Im getting 22mbps download on speed test but youtube is hitting buffering walls like its 1990s dialup. It was 100% fine before. Are they jewing me hard and throttling youtube so i pay for speed upgrades?
I'm getting better than that on VDSL2 - 4K YouTube vids are no problem here.
So how bad is it going to get for the internet in the next 4 years?
Homescreen thread maybe?
What's the current state of Android TV?
Can you flash them with custom firmware to remove all the spy shit while keeping "smart" tv functionality?
The last time I checked out Android TVs a year ago, they all had a crippling design flaw: When turning the TV on (or resuming from standby), they always return to the home screen. There's no option or setting to have them return to the last input or channel they were on before being turned off.
I'm not buying a TV that won't even remember the input I selected.
Is Ada the commie/cuck programming language?
>named after a woman
>compiler is fucking genghis khan
whats your opinion?
