Give it back Jamal.
Return the stolen tablet or burn in hell.

What are your thoughts on a prebuild pc like Pic releated?
>>55605463
That case alone is worth $1,000.

You're getting jew'd hard, m8.
Is the Vive or any VR worth buying right now?
Literally nobody talks about it anymore.
I'll take that as a no.
>>55605446
The only people that buy VR right now are weak-minded gaymurs. The content for it is shovelware and the technology is overpriced and still in its infancy. If you do buy one, the Vive is the only real option as Oculus has like 9% of the marketshare and is owned by Facebook.
>>55605810
Do you have a source for the market share? I'm genuinely interested.

Programmers of /g/.
What is your favourite programming language?
How long did it take to become fluent in your favourite programming language?
C++
fluent? a few days, maybe a couple of weeks.
expert? I dunno. Every time I think I know it all, I learn something new about it.
>>55605437
That's exactly how I feel about C++!
People say there's a lot of "bloat," but I would strongly prefer C++ over Java any day of the week;
Took me about a few weeks to become fluent at C++;
>>55605349
Define fluent? Fluent as in know the syntax and semantics or fluent as in knowing the complete standard libraries?
Personally, I think VGA looks more vibrant, but what's your opinions?
>>55605316
Are you an idiot?
>>55605316
S-Video is best video. So fucking sexy and round.
That's an RCA in your image retard.
I was a dumb when I built my PC, and bought a 850 evga power supply unit.
my CPU is an AMD FX-8350 and my gpu is 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series.
so my question is what PSU should I get so that the energy bill isnt through the roof?
r9 285*
fuck, i just used a calculator and it says i should be a 550 psu, and i have an 850 one, does that mean my it is using 850 all the time!?
>>55605172
Yes. You're going to love your bill
>do a youtube search to find vids on a specific algorithm i'm trying to learn
>80 videos of pajeets giving retarded explanations in broken english
are you guys sure programming is a good career choice? what if we're in a bubble and everyone will laugh in our unemployed faces in a few years?
>>55605043
incapable of reading books?
>>55605080
>incapable of reading books?
>>55605043
Because pajeets did
Because almost all fundraising is done using private equity from vc firms, etc and not the stock market we can't be in a bubble. Although it can be said that the party is slowing down with this being the age of the monetize able startups. The term burn rate may very well be ancient history if things keep going like this.

Sorry windows, sorry Mac OS, sorry Ubuntu... Chrome OS will be King.
Chrome OS is light as fuck, it would run on any hardware, tablet and pc.
It would run most Linux applications and over 1 million android apps.
Game over for Microsoft and apple.
Advantages of Chrome os
>Free - no licenses or subscriptions
>Easy up to date system files and appa
>Very light
>runs 99% of the software you will ever need
>Google play store
>secure, stable
>>55604611
It can also run Windows applications using wine
>>55604611
>Android apps on desktop
Be prepared for an absolutely miserable experience. Wake me up in a few years when developers actually give two fifths of a fuck about how their apps run on the desktop.
>>55604654
Same experience as when using a tablet.
I just want to check my email and read the news I am not asking for experiences whatever that means
Why aren't you making an app right now?

They're laptop hardware minus everything except the mobo and CPU, that somehow cost just as much as a laptop. If not more.
>>55604629
So what are they good for?

Where can I get a i5-6200U laptop for $400?
ITT: we post things we dislike about our own operating system
i'll start
>OSX on laptop
>itunes is a little buggy, even on its own platform
>can't write to most external drives without formatting because they came from a windows system
>can't play overwatch on the go

Tfw I'm on Linux and can write to and read from any type of external drive I please.
What do you use to fast transfer text/links/files from phone to computer/laptop?
My situation is following:
1) No bluetooth on laptop for bluetooth transfer
2) USB cable is too slow, when I want to fast share piece of text to phone I cant plug in cable every time
3) Copy paste text on gmail as draft email than access it from phone (stupid method desu)
4) Use some other third party app which is not meant for this to do this
Is there app specifically built for this that I could use?
Congrats on emerging from under your rock. Google Keep or Onenote for text and links, Dropbox/Google drive/Onedrive for files.
