Can someone help me? I purchased a legitimate copy of Windows several years ago but Microsoft decided to fuck me over
I've tried SLMGR -REARM, but no luck
I'm new to /g/, pls be gentle
thank me later
Hey /g/, board interloper here. Figured you guys could help me with my problem: I need a PC, and I need your tech-savvy minds to come up with a build for me.
>needs to be able to run game development software like Unity/Unreal engine as well as modelling programs with ease
>needs to be able to run current gen games (not ultra graphics, but at least high)
I'm currently studying games development, and even though it's absolute...

Then you should already know what kind of components you'll need to run games. Or at least be smart enough to do your research and not need to be spoonfed everything.
/g/, how would I go about a future-proofed email address?
I'm about to switch over from my college email to a different email, and it would be nice to pick one with as much longevity as possible, so I don't have to go through the pain of updating all of my accounts reliant on it again.
Is a gmail fine, or is it better to get a custom domain and simply use it for personal use (as opposed to most custom email domains which are used for companies).
Anybody know what Jenkins plugin this is? Pic related.
What's the best-priced smart watch that I could use with my Galaxy S7?
I heard there was a great number of $50 chinese smartwatches but I feel like only a select few would actually be viable to use
Someone told me to wait 1 month before buying a new graphic card as the prices will likely drop after the new generation comes out? Is this true or was he just bullshitting?
I'm looking to buy a bang for the buck budget value card
>Asus AM3+ socket motherboard dies
>go to store and buy Gigabyte AM3+ motherboard
>boot up Windows 10
>it boots up just fine to my desktop
Is reinstalling the OS after motherboard swap a meme?
I'm interested in trackball mice, have any of you tried them? Thoughts?
I can't get used to the trackpad for aiming. It's hard to do intermediate movements. I either slide the thumb too much or too little. To get more control I uncounciously try to press on the trackpad harder so that I get a bigger friction on the thumb, and therefore more control, but I still can't do it, it's awakard as fuck.
Who the hell likes markup syntax? it's verbose and hard to read. fuck that.
>1936 - Alonzo Church also invents every language that will ever be but does it better. His lambda calculus is ignored because it is insufficiently C-like. This criticism occurs in spite of the fact that C has not yet been invented.
truly a great meme.
There is one thing I want to say to my laptop which is slowly dying. Your are my best friend and I will never forget about you.
Is this a good purchase? It costs £1,700~
If you have any alternatives on drawing tablets, make sure the one you're suggesting has a screen on it. I can go smaller on screen size.
These are pretty much the gold-standard in any size. Don't skimp on a drawing tablet if you do it professionally/if it's your primary hobby. You'll really regret it.
If you're just sketching, something like a surface pro 4 can suffice, but it's markedly worse than a wacom
It's not really a primary hobby, but it's something I want to get into but if it comes to it, I might buy such a wonderful drawing tablet in the future.
Is the surface pro 4 any good though? Would it be accurate enough to make good drawings with the proper software that supports drawing tablets?
You could get a $400 monoprice.
Everyone says to get Wacom and ignore everyone else, but in reality why would you? That would make Wacom a effective monopoly, even as a high-end industry standard there's not much to back that up either. There are too few cases where the tool is determinant for the quality of the work, and that's usually when there's fault within the product, which happens a lot with Wacom anyway. Because they are electronics. That's how it works, things might break or not work as expected, in which case you should just RMA.
Where do you download your firmware /g/?
Found a Galaxy S6 edge+ in a shopping cart
Only sites I can find have the software for free members that will take hours to download
Wasn't there a person a while back repeatedly posting on multiple boards about how he goes to King's College and hated it?
