Now that Big Data is out, what's the next big thing?
Im putting my money on Machine Learning
I know its been out for a long time, but now with the growth of R, its starting to gain a lot more traction.
As well as that, I'll say Self Service BI and Natural Language, although that has been used for quite a while now, it just ties in nicely with the rest.
jesus whats happening
allright /g/ I need a tablet
>watching youtube videos in bed
>watching random streaming sites in bed
>watching video files in bed
I have never used a non-apple tablet that didn't feel sluggish but I haven't touched tablets in like 3 years
is there any reason NOT to get an ipad?
IT'S OVER, AYYMD IS FINISHED & BANKRUPT
Ask your small/stupid questions that don't deserve their own thread here.
Get an Rx 480 instead, it's shitting on nvidia cards in DX12 and 8GB version is only $239 and VR ready (async compute).
Congrats /g/. Half the catalog is filtered off of 4 basic filters. Half of the remaining threads are about video cards and GPUs too.
SHOULD I GET A 480 OR 390???
Is there a point in 6 or 8 core processors yet?
Will we ever leave the 4 core territory?
More cores is great for servers. For consumer stuff, the only point of more cores is to let windows run more telemetry spyware in the background. For computation stuff, GPUs > CPU cores in most cases.
>RX 480 is compared to higher end cards
Why? It's a mid-range card, it's not meant to compete with the GTX 980 or R9 390.
>inb4 "benchmarks are shit"
Because nvidiots are getting desperate and want people to overlook the fact that 2 of these puppies in crossfire will shit all over the gtx 1080 in many DX12 games for less than $500.
there is a new model? why didn't you tell me??
Why are AMD drivers so awful yet the hardware is great?
A lot of the reviews I'm reading seem to really pan (once again!) AMD's reference cooler provided by the RX 480, generally they seem content enough with performance but thermal throttling seems to be a constant issue that pretty much torpedos OCing on reference boards.
My question is this; WHY? Why, when AMD must have had numerous engineers doing QA/QC would they equip the cards that their flagship series was going to be judged on with garbage coolers that were loud, inefficient, and din't allow OC headroom? It makes no sense, at the least why don't...
