So, this time you are only allowed to use 2 if blocks with optional else.
Every variable you declare should be final / immutable.
The only exception is the outer loop.
If you wish extra difficulty: no arrays allowed.
Just a reminder:
Write a program that prints the numbers from 1 to 100. But for multiples of three print "Fizz" instead of the number and for the multiples of five print "Buzz". For numbers which are multiples of both three and five print "FizzBuzz".
Syntactic sugar to avoid the restrictions is NOT allowed. Examples of what is not allowed:import fizzbuzz
test ? if_true : if_false
del varname
>>55325748
Easy.
Print ("1")
Print ("2")
Print ("Fizz")
Etc
>>55325811
Wonder if that would take more or less CPU cycles than an algorithm that goes through a loop with nested if statements.
>>55325748
why would you ever need more than 2 ifs ?

Get a 290. NewEgg has them for like $180.
I don't think I've ever seen this discussed on /g/ before, I don't think this more of a /gd/ thing? Either way that board is ded.
Which animation software do you use /g/? I'm looking for a free one. Feel free to discuss animation in general.
polite bump.
>>55325702
Krita 3, though you have to export the frames into another program which is kinda stupid, but it has very unique line quality for an animation program.
Blender is an open-source 3D modeling program. Once finished creating, and rigging a character, you can then animate. I'm 2 weeks in, and so far I can model some low-poly animals Pic related.
>>55327031
that's pretty cool dude. I'm trying to fuck around with some stuff to start. I would like to make a 2D cartoon style animation.
You are using blender or krita or both?

ITT we discuss air purifiers and similar devices.

Does anyone have one of those older Sharper Image air purifiers with the electrode cartridge and three wires running down the inside?
I had one that was sparking really badly, so I took it apart to clean it and found not only was it full of disgusting sticky shit that hadn't stuck to the electrodes, but at the very bottom of the unit there is a sharp, pointed blade of metal that has no conceivable purpose other than to injure anyone who attempts to disassemble it.
My air conditioner has a HEPA filter built in, why the fuck would I need another one?
What's it like working for a Amazon, /g/ents?
I'm interviewing there in August for a programming job.. Not sure what to think of them.
Pure sex.
>>55325417
does the term slave labor mean anything to you?
Just for an example of how they treat employees:
There are amazon warehouses that are actually MILES long.
You are not allowed to eat except outside, or in the cafeteria, which is near the entrance.
If your lunch starts at 12:00, and you're on the far end of the complex, you need to spend YOUR LUNCH TIME walking out to the cafeteria to eat, then WALK BACK to your station.
There are some people who I know worked in a warehouse, and...

Doesn't it have an extremely high turnover of staff because working there is so awful? I remember reading that.
If you don't program in APL, FORTH, Coq, Iota, or Idris, you are inefficient and a normie.
Suck my Coq, dude.
Good, I'd hate to be autistic.

WTF /g/ all I want to do is strip the metadata from a video file in OS X. Is that too fucking much to ask?
I know I'm a retard because nothing in pic related is working.
Why are you asking a community that hates everything Apple and anything else popular with women?
Try asking at these places instead:

Found your problem.
ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -map_metadata -1 -map 0 -c copy out.mp4
Very easy with ffmpeg. To do that for every mp4 video in a directory on a Unix-like system (Including OS X of course)mkdir out
for vid in *.mp4 ; do
ffmpeg -i "$vid" -map_metadata -1 -map 0 -c copy "out/$vid"
done

Greetings Mr. Stroustrup.
Hey /g/ why do i have to write random numbers all over my harddrive multiple times to wipe all the data? Why isnt writing a 1 in every "memoryslot" enough to make everything non restorable?
Id really like to know why i have to let my laptop clear itself for over 90 hours and why even that might not be enough

What can be done with and old Intel Xeon Processor 3.20E GHz, 2M Cache, 64-bit processor?
Should I bother with it?
>>55324973
frame it and then after many years show it to your grandchildren.
run it as a seedbox with funtoo
is it in a full system, or by itself?
it's nothing super special, lower tier of its release batch (best of them was the 3.6E) and okay for a file server, web surfer or the like but not something I would spend the money sourcing a board and other components just to run it, with how cheap netburst chips are nowadays and how undesirable they are to collectors there's no real reason to go with anything less than the best of a particular time
if you've got it in a system already though, use it for whatever, it's fine for most shit that XP can run

dear diary,
today OP wasn't a fag.
Why doesn't someone just port DX12 to Windows 7/8?
>why doesn't someone spend thousands of hours reverse engineering directx 12 and create patches for the kernel so that a few hundred people who wants to use windows but not windows 10 because of muh botnet will be happy
I don't know, OP. Good question.
Yeah, that's really easy. Not like it's all closed source. Maybe you should try it OP.
>>55324746
i'll do it. you got a download of the source code?
