Has anyone used this? How long does it take to find a trip containing a 7 letter word? I know it's variable since it searches random combinations but can I have an estimate? I've been running it for 86 hours so far as you can see.

Use Gentoo!
>>55338419
is gentoo like arch, rolling release ?
yes i don't veery like systemctl
i have install net-tools to get ifconfig working
gentoo use apt-get ?
>>55338484
no, gentoo use emerge, using portage instead of packages, you compiling everything, you can setup your USE flags, gentoo takes less RAM, is more clearly and for me more powerfull. I use Arch on desktop, Gentoo on laptop and *BSD on servers. for working and programming is gentoo the best for me.

Bnet open vs Bnet closed
My GPU has been slowly heating its self up for a very long time, I finally got round to downloading Process Explorer and it's all Bnet's fault. I can't find any way to fix it and need some help.
>>55338299
this seems like something that you would have to bitch to blizzard about.
We don't know what kind of shitty code they have running when you have it open due to it not being open source.
One option is to never play any blizzard games ever again and forget about the bnet client?
>>55338372
That does seem like a tempting solution, before I set my fan profiles I left Bnet open when I turned my PC on and went in the shower and my GPU had reached 90 degrees, those little 10% fan speed humps are the only thing stopping it from melting when Bnet is open
So I'm in the planning stages of a new stereo. Looking for some suggestions for speakers. I'll definitely keeping it 2 channel as this is strictly for listening to music, no TV etc. My music taste is pretty eclectic, as in I listen to classical, jazz, ambient, metal, electronic, and/or everything else, but a lot of bass heavy rock/electronic music, so I need something with decent bass extension, but decently balanced all the way around. I'm trying to choose speakers before I choose a receiver/amp so I can choose something that matches well. I live in an apartment,...

I recommend single driver.
>>55338758
Why is that? I've never listened to a decent pair of single driver speakers, but then again I've never anything particularly great about them either. You got a pair you recommend?
>>55338822
Single driver is a meme, you NEED 3.

Intel Non-K CPU overclock thread
Yeah, this is old news but I missed all the hype and have a question myself
if anyone is curious about doing this then remember you lose significant avx performance, the ability to read cpu temps normally and apparently L1 cache speeds suffer by 8x (can someone verify?)
I'm currently running a non k oc setup, if you're curious, ask away

Electrical current passing within a non-conductive medium will gradually ionise the non-conductive medium, eventually causing it to become conductive.
Have fun with your ticking "Oh my PC don't work now" bomb.

Hey /g/oys. I got a head scratcher. Has anyone else noticed a small circular logo dot in the upper right corner of their phone screen? It's hard to see but from what I can tell it's a Google logo, faint almost like a watermark on a picture or a screen burn.
I doubt it's a burn as its not a logo in a place that is often, or to my knowledge at all, on my screen. It's not a water spot, not the screen protector, but I can't seem to take a screen cap of it.
