S3 user here. I intend to use this phone until there's a breakthrough in the battery technology that could last a smartphone at least 3 days on heavy usage. Right now running slimbean 4.2.2 with few UI mods. Tried cm13 with resurrection remix but it suck balls intermittently, I can't rely on such thing for my day to day usage.

The autopilot didn't decelerate because it was sunny and the truck was white.
How do you uninstall base programs from FreeBSD?
I know how to uninstall pakages...
> # pkg_delete app_name
and ports...
> # cd /usr/ports/sysutils/app_name
> # make deinstall
but what about base software, for example ntpd or OpenSSL?
Why do you want to uninstall base system software? I don't think that's advisable. You could probably omit the software you don't want when building the world before installing it.
>pkg_delete
That's only for older systems, pkgng uses a whitespace to separate sub commands like this "pkg delete"
>>55346851
i'm using OpenNTPD, so want to uninstall base ntpd
using LibreSSL, want to uninstall OpenSSL
>>55346961
You might want to ask on their mailing list or forums, I've never had to replace anything in the base myself, the ports I use give me the option to use what's in the base or an external port if I desire that, same with services, if I don't use a base system service I just don't enable it and do enable the external package.
Time to go down the rabbit hole...
DNSSEC or DNSCrypt?

DNSCrypt
>>55346681
Yuo know since enabling dnssec in OpenBSD is uncommenting 1 unbound config line, why not both?
Noticed this on an islandic server
>A free DNSCrypt enabled, non-logging, uncensored, recursive DNS server with DNSSEC support
>>55346669
How widely implemented is DNSCrypt? I downloaded an addon for Firefox to verify DNSSEC and 4chan is the only website that I go to that it returns anything for.
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

I have a detached garage and I'd like to get better wifi out there. The garage is at least 50 feet away from my wireless router so I only get a really weak signal. I was thinking of running a cat5 cable from my modem and setting up another wireless router out there.
Is there any better way to do this? I don't mind having a cable run across the yard but I don't know how long it'll last until the cat chews it up.
>>55346479
Run it through a conduit you dip
>>55346547
Duly noted. Is there anything better than running a cable out there? Because if I do run a cable out there I'll probably end up burying it.

This just appeared on my PC along with a "Windows 10 upgrade assistant" icon. I already have Windows 10, is this a new update thing they have going? It used to just do it in background. Anyone know what this is?

It looks unstable as fuck if it wasn't maintained properly, but if it get's the job done on a relatively low budget, why the hell not.
On first impressions and tries this evening, it looks as if you could get shit done with it. I can understand why someone would use it in the first place.

Does T-Mobile remotely install it on your phone, or did you buy a phone from T-Mobile? I'm guessing it's the latter and it's your own fault.

Given that we're getting APIs like DX12 and Vulkan running, when can we expect to have multiple small GPUs on one card as an enthusiast card?
I don't really like watching pcper since they take fucking forever in their videos, but the little talk they had with Raja was at least entertaining as a background playback. Comparing two GPUs to one has always been dumb, but with how these APis are scaling, I understand what AMD is trying to do here. It's like they're going with what happened with dual cores and more on the CPU side.
