Can somebody please identify the ones I marked in a red question mark?
Also, don't mind the tiers, we all know /vg/agdg is retarded.
That thing is all kind of wrong.
One of those is
http://polycode.org/features/
by the way.
>>42984226

http://flixel.org/
I don't know the other ones.
>>42984226

Just installed Nova, looking for ideas.

Use a wallpaper with good quality, the pixels look bad on that one.

I recently bought a Thinkpad x220 to dual-boot Ubuntu and Mavericks
The stock wi-fi card does not work in Mavericks, so I bought a new one
It doesn't match the BIOS whitelist so the laptop won't start
>How do I hack the bios to edit/remove the whitelist?
Otherwise I'm gonna use a USB wi-fi dongle
In your opinion, what is the best looking case and the best functioning case?
What does a kernel actually do? Why is Linux better than other kernels?
What are some Micro ATX Socket AM3+ Motherboards that have decent chipsets? Preferably with four memory slots. Pic unrelated.
She would be hot if she amputated below her knees.
And If I had any idea how she stays clean after using the bathroom.
>>42986683
Well a relevant pic would have been less attention grabbing.
wow, that's hot
>Mac book air
>Ipad
>iphone
Lets face it, if you're doing computing on the go you are probably using an Apple device. How is it that one company does it so well?
Using Facebook is not doing computing, son.
>>42984545
by being really good at knowing where the market is going and more often than not being first to market with those products. ex thin and light, value placed on battery life, hidpi displays etc
>>42984600
posting on /g/ and installing ubuntu / muh gaemz is not computing, son
IT'S HAPPENING
>>42978032

Threshould or 8.1.2?
Could someone rate mine please? Any constructive criticism would be great :D
The lamp should be pointed at a ~45° angle at the wall so that the light bounces up at the wall and reflects back all around
>>42986190
I suggest looking into building a desktop.
>>42986190
boring/10
Get speakers
Put something on that wall
get a mousepad
10 seconds to tell me why I fucked up buying the Lenovo y510p

Is there any up-to-date phone similar to this? I really want a phone which is as open source and with a physical qwerty keyboard.
I'd buy one but the price is way too high
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOKIA-N950-Developer-Device-RARE-/221487903735
>>42984187
Not that I know of, sorry.
Hardware keyboards died, sadly. Don't let the neo900 convince you, it's got meh-tier specs (whereas you could just get an N97, N97 Mini or N900) and costs the same as a flagship.
>>42984187
have you looked into jolla
>tfw no ubuntu edge
Why the fuck are there no phones with physical keyboards anymore?
Guess what time it is you retarded assholes
Its time to battle
With stations
Post your pleb tier shit
>>42985867
Oh, what's that, you guys don't have closet stations?
TOO FUCKING BAD
>>42985885
I've got a few pairs of headphones
If you think that's bad, wait until you realize some people on /g/ own more dildos than I own headphones
>>42985867
Retarded asshole reporting in.
Can someone explain what the fuck AMD is doing?
> 220W
lel
>>42979431
setting the new nvidia housefire record
yet /g/ is gonna defend amd
They realize nobody gives a flying fuck about power usage and heat.
I got myself a cheap as fuck VPS (10 USD/year) to use it as VPN and just fucking around with.
Any ideas to what else I should use it for?
Also, VPN thread.
What do you use?
For what do you use it?
Who's your host?
What do you pay?
etc etc
I'm actually considering getting a VPS just for installing H@H on, any idea of a good provider for this?
>>42959897
I wouldn't know, but make sure you don't get any shared VPSs, as they'll get angry with you for having 100% CPU usage for longer periods of time.
Also, I've seen a few VPSs specifically not allowing H@H, so watch out for that.
Also, doesn't it require at least decent specs to be worth anything?
So is /g/ not interested in VPSs?
I'm building a 1 Petabyte storage system, my budget is <$100K USD. /g/ could you give me some advice?
What would you do if you were tasked with this?
>>42955215
Only storage? Tapes.
Chained hardware RAID cards
http://www.engadget.com/2014/04/30/sony-185tb-data-tape/
What >>42955225 said isn't far off, but good luck trying to buy half a dozen super tapes.
Which one is a better monitor overall?
> both are 60hz
> one is ultra-wide regular pixel density 34''
> other is 4k 27''
I'm interested mostly in:
> programming productivity
> movie watching
> browsing internet
Anyone has experience using one of these?
>>programming productivity
fizzbuzz doesn't require 27"+ screen size
Bottom one looks better though
34" ultrawide since movies are closer to that format and 4k is dumb since OS scaling is shit. Also games
>>42958193
ultrawide should be curved
it's too flat
You have 10 seconds to explain why your next build won't be a Micro-ITX.
>portable
>quiet
>inherently mature (no room for rice)
But it will
Because cooling
Why do you think mITX is quiet? You need to use 90mm fans (loud), there's little airflow (loud), and you can't use a big HSF (loud)
Aand most people aren't concerned about an extra square foot used by an ATX case and don't move their desktops often
