Feels inadequate man
Does /g/ own any domain names?
I'm thinking of registering jihad.moe and some other joke domains because fun, and have one serious domain.
Wanted levens.moe ("tired of life" in Dutch) but it was already taken.
I'd just put
>Allah Ackbar, Onee-Chan!
on it.
It's just 25 Euro anyway.
Yes, I do.
>>45342134
25 eur is too expensive, what is the cheapest domain /g/?

.com i guess
How can I install firefox addons in seamonkey, without modding them each individually?

I need a new 1150 mobo. What does /g/ recommend? What specs should I be looking for? This one seems like a good deal:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128723
...But really I'm looking for an affordable one.
I'll soon be cashing out on a deal for a $99 i7-4790K, but I currently have an AM3+ mobo, so I'll need to replace it.
After I restarted my laptop running kubuntu the sound won't work anymore. What can I do to fix it? Laptop is a Acer Aspire V3
You're officially out of excuses. Unless your poor, of course.
>>45343616
>are technica
Into the trash
Blackberry Limited is poor. I'm sure they have other excuses for why they release such shit phones though as well.
>>45343616
reverse google image search returns nothing, no ars technica article on it
ars is shit anyway
THE FUCK
why are earbuds pretty much GONE from the market?
what's the driving force behind this shit?
I fucking hate in-ear shit plugs.
earbuds were perfect for on the go because you still knew what is happening around you without insulating you from your surroundings.
now you have the choice of looking like a tool with real headphones on or stuffing pig disgusting in-ears in your auditory canal.
the sony ones were the best back then.
I don't give a fuck that the sound quality was not that good. they were perfect for people...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>45346029
it's because people, want something which isolates outside sound and earbuds don't do that, also in ears, sound a lot better.
>>45346029
What are you whining about ?
You can still buy them. Or are you bothered that people want something that offers better quality ?
>knew what is happening around
You don't have to always put your mp3/phone/whatever at max volume.
OP, Koss still has some.
>>45346074
>implying you still hear something with in-ears even when on low volume.
What should I be using for E-Mail, /g/?
Corollary: what should broke-ass fucks be using for E-Mail, /g/?

Hello /g/
Could someone explain me, why not ubuntu ?
I think for most the problem lies within Unity. For others it might be because Ubuntu has a more corporate drive force with shines through their products. Others mind find it to 'bloated', meaning it has to much unnecessary software
>>45324734
Which*, too*, too*
>>45324734
So why not install Ubuntu Gnome ? ._.
Nas/Home Server
Sup /g/,
I'm in the process of replacing an old netburst xeon based workstation that I use to store/stream media. I also need it to host an old runUO shard until the playerbase inevitably dies out.
I want something small and power efficient so im considering two options. Either I go all out and get one of those 8 core avoton boards or cheap out with an AM1 build. Will an athlon 5350 be enough in my case? Any sensible opinions would be appreciated.
Pic related its the case I will be using.
>overpaying for "NAS" cases
>>45337759
Do you know of any non "NAS" cases with hot-swap bays that aren't overpriced?
>>45337855
Just get a tower case and stick hot swap bays in it no?

What a bunch of pathetic fuckwits, this isn't 1992 anymore,
Why aren't you using the worlds most advanced operating system on non-overpriced shit hardware, /g/?
It has that bend feature. I really, really, really, don't want my computer to bend.
because I dont want to spend $40 on a pci Wifi Card... My USB wifi card isnt supported.

Is that the Razer Board with knockoff Cherry switches? How do you like it?
>>45334257
I actually have the original model with blues! I have had a chance to use the Razer greens, and I have to say they really aren't that bad. They feel like blues, but with less of a click. Lot quieter too. If I had the choice, i'd still go with the blues since I really enjoy clicky things; but the Razer greens are a close second.
I just reformatted and dont feel like going through the bullshit of installing MS office again.
should i use Open Office?
is Open Office /g/ approved?
>>45336988
Nothing is /g/ approved. nothing ever will be /g/ approved.
everything is a botnet according to /g/
you are better off disconnecting your computer from the internet, dismantling it, pulverizing all compenents, incinerating the remains, then finally killing yourself for your own safety.
with that said, Open office is a fine alternative to MS office.
>>45336999
>botnet: the post
If you seriously need all the features that Open Office offers that equivelate to the advanced features of office then yeah Open Office is a good alternative (only alternative) really to Office, but if you just want to type and basic features why don't you just use Word Pad or some other basic text editor?
Whatcha reading, /g/?
What are you reading it on?
The Stand
Kobo Aura
Have you read your SICP today, /g/?
I need a need router soon, is the RT-AC68U really the best money can buy?
