I'm going to my first big LAN to play some CS this summer and I need some in ear headphones to block the noise and still get decent audio.
The installgentoo wiki doesn't talk about these and googling hasn't come up with any threads about this. I should learn to google better, but in the mean time:
You lot have probably been to LANs and have decent taste in audio. If asked somewhere else I'd probably get recommended marketing-tastic gaming in ears that I don't trust.
Thanks in advance!
What's the best desktop for Ubuntu? I see laptop threads on here all the time but I think a desktop would be cheaper for more power, especially if I want to start building a homelab.
Do any of you know of a program like this that i can download. or at least any idea how i can make one (preferably in C++}
Can FireFox handle 200+ tabs? Chrome is not particularly pleased with the job, and there's no reason I shouldn't be able to have that many open.
So I've been on the red team for a while. All three of my AMD cards have had very slight problems and I think I'm finally tired of it. Now that the GTX 1080 is out, which one should I buy?
EVGA, Gigabyte, or MSI?
Wait for the Rx 490, it's gonna rape the GTX 1080.
The Rx 480 already left Nvidias asshole bleeding and brutally bruised.
Why arent there pen/button spy cameras with capture quality that is comparable to what modern smartphones delivers?
Is it possible to hack a smartphones camera into a pen camera? I don't know anything about how these things work but I am willing to learn. Or would I have to stick with 640*480 chinese cameras?
Of course it's possible but I'm sure as fuck not going to teach some creepy ass neckbeard like you.
Hint: the camera assembly isn't the only component that makes a smartphone camera good nor will it work without quite a bit of other stuff, it just happens to be the smallest part.
Rate my build. Should I get a better CPU, I'm probably not gonna overclock. If I do, I would probably go up to 4.0Ghz
Just know that if you don't want to overclock, then that cpu + combo is fine. IIRC that mobo is locked, and that specific cpu isn't supposed to be overclocked.
Also, remove windows and add another 8gb ram stick.
Your build looks pretty nice man, cheers.

How long will TVs support legacy connectors?
HDMI is all you really need.
HDMI is deprecated, DisplayPort is the future.
>mfw plugging my TV into an external hard drive through an active adapter and having everything just werk through the magic of Thunderbolt 3 DP daisy chaining
Has /g/ ever used one of these?
Do they work? Does it cool better than a 5 fan pad?
Why didn't they do this shit? It would make a whole lot more convenient.
I want to create a web server on my home network but I want to separate it from the rest of my network. What are some simple ways of doing this? Can I daisychain 2 routers and have the client PC's connected to the second router?
Why isn't AMD supported byany deep learning framework, which is the only meaningful application of GPUs in the history of mankind?
