>inb4 install gentoo
To sli gtx 970 or not to that is the question
>not building your own GPU out of stones and sand
I'm tired of my Nexus 5's terrible battery, sound and camera and I was looking for alternatives.
Is the Moto X Play a good alternative?
It has all the things I'm looking for, but I've heard performance wise isn't as great as the N5. Is it true?
don't really see anyone talking about it recently, i know it's not available yet in the UK at least
is a bad phone or is LG just bad?
am i fucking up if i order it on release
Apparently it comes with a secondary screen on the top that displays notifications when the main screen is off and a favorites bar when its on. Also has a fingerprint reader on the power button, otherwise they're pretty much the same phone.
ITT we post things /g/ loves that are actually fucking horrible.
Pic very related. Use Tomato or OpenWRT, at least those actually work correctly.
>go to google for work's website for an event announcement
are they allowed to do this? my firefox is up to date.

Chink tablets thread!
>micro HDMI ports
>Some tablets have two full USB 2.0 ports
>Stolen retina screens
>Dual boot Windows 8.1 and KitKat or Windows 10 and Lollipop
>32 GB and UP
What is your favorite chink tablet /g/?
>Not helping to build a socialist utopia
It's a feature!
Why haven't you applied NWHML to your projects?
Do you hate equality?
>Do you hate equality?
Obviously, why would I be on 4chin, otherwise?
>need to retain license
bah. I really hoped it would be "you guys can't use this for any purpose" and not just "you have to retain license".
Also, who gets to decide if I qualify as straight or not?
>If a government or institution is not
>51% female, 34% non-white and %4 LGBT
>it represents a boys club,
>not the people.
But the government doesn't represent the people, it represents what the people want. And if the people want a bunch of males running the place, so be it.
>claims to be for free software and freedom
>uses a Linux distro with non-free components
Its /g/ folks, that means tech... winners dont play video games.
Hey /g/ if I were to set up a wireless access point in my students union what would I be able to see when people connected and surfed the web?
Pic unrelated, inna lecture
only if they were browsing unencrypted sites. Facebook, Google, etc... are all encrypted.
this is also a stupid question that should be in the stupid question thread; also, what the fuck are you doing browsing and posting to 4chan in lecture? are you some kind of subhuman faggot?
Is this suddenly a problem? If you run a wireless hotspot you can mitm the certs and just present your own to the clients. This is what most companies do to monitor browsing. I believe only Google protects against that.
Hey /g/ need some quick advice.
I have a small B&B and need a router that can have about 25/35 devices connected to it and decent-ish range. I have shitty 10 mb/s internet so high speed doesnt matter.
I'm currently using some shitty never heard of brand router provided by my isp, so a lot of devices have trouble connecting.
I was looking at a TP-LINK Archer C2 (pic related), what router would you guys recommend?
Use it with openWRT configure it well enough and you will have a stable enough and relatively fast network for all those devices.
Found this on a council pick up today, in a case and wrapped up. Anyone have any information about it (..or how much it's worth)?
Don't want to sell it when I don't know how much I can get
>how much it's worth
Absolutely fucking nothing.
You could maybe contact the manufacturer and give them the s/n to make sure it's not been part of a crime or it's a forgery, you might get some reward for returning it, probably won;t, but worth a try.
