You sure that's a mousepad? And not some weeb fuck-toy?
I haven't used a mouse pad in 12 years. I have to say though, that looks like it'd be a comfy pillow if it were bigger.

Last week changes to the Windows 10 upgrade path mean it is going to become increasingly difficult for any non-techy users to avoid being pushed to Microsoft MSFT +0.00%’s new operating system. But given Windows 10 is better than Windows 7 and Windows 8, why would that be a problem? Because of policies like this…
Speaking to PC World, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Joe Belfiore explained that Windows 10 is constantly tracking how it operates and how you...

I honestly don't see the issue in them having a way of finding and fixing bugs, it just tells me they're actively supporting the system.
But I agree they should give the user the option to participate or not.

i dont claim to be particularly smart but ive come up with an excellent solution to this non-problem
IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT USE IT
>>51229103
That's easy to say but not a solution when the product you're talking about is market leading and there's no real alternative.
Hi, a new lightning fast way to charge your android phones (or any with micro USB) has been recently invented.
It's piss-easy to make.
See pic. Let us know your results!
>>51228969
But my phone only takes 5v DC.
>>51228969
don't do it, you'll only get mustard gas
>>51229036
Only if your phone is made in China.
I've got around 300 floppy disks laying around. Is there are practical use for them in this day and age, or should I just bin them?
>>51228880
>Is there are practical use for them in this day and age
Yes but probably none that you need to worry about, unless you have a programmable weaving machine, or an industrial CNC lathe...
>should I just bin them?
Make art from them.
>>51228880
I have an old diagram to make them into fire starters, but you would still need something to spin the disk.
Archive all the data found on each one then toss them.
What streaming device should I buy to make my TV smart?
Requirements: ESPN and HBO. It would be nice to stream Charter or Directv service because I have logins to both, but I don't think that's possible anywhere yet.
Just buy an hdmi cable and save yourself some money in subscription.
>>51228874
I already have all the logins to every service (thx mom n dad). I'm concerned with device price and stream quality. I don't know what else would matter.
Looks like I'm getting a Chromecast then since I'm cheap

Is it like a Rom? Or is it something completely different than Android? Is it universal or does it have to be specifically made for each device? Is it lighter than Android to provide better battery life and performance? Or is it comparable to Android? Could I install it on my HTC One m9 right now, do I flash it like a custom rom? Or is it harder than just flashing it in Twrp?
>>51228736
I think so
>>51228744
Well, that'd be good news. But is it device specific too, like, I guess all Roms?
Its core is pure Linux.
It's not based on Java, so you should get way better performance than Android, should you have the ability to install it.
Why don't more people use Opensuse/Fedora?
Why are RPM-based distributions so unpopular amongst /g/eniuses?
Manchildren.
Fedora and OpenSuse are actual working distros.

And stay gone this time
I'll probably buy the laptop of a friend, who recently upgraded to windows 10. The thing is, I don't really like the flat design, the app integration or the interface, which is why I thought about putting a cracked version of windows 7 on it.
So..
>windows 10 or nah
install gentoo
gentoo
load windows 7 on it.
update your windows 7 all the way, but don't get Win10 yet
use Windows Loader by Daz to make it genuine.
Upgrade to Windows 10.
