Found this lying on the street, it was in a cardboard box hidden in some tall grass. (Real life RPG) What can i rescue from this garbage?
Shove it up your ass u fgt.
Nothing, just from how green that motherboard is you can tell it's shit.

Debian with steam pre-installed that they're slapping on alienware shitboxes and trying to sell as a gaming rig.
What's the performance difference between an a8 7650k and an i3 4160?
What about after I overclock the 7650k?
Is it worth?
>>51238417
yes
>>51238417
The i3 4170 is a better comparison, same clock, lower price.
Not worth it, you need to overclock the 7850k to 4.7ghz to get around 20% performance increase, while the 4170 is around 45% better than the 7850k
>>51238492
What about on a budget? It's $30 cheaper than an i3.
And then there's dx12 multiadapter and better cpu core scaling. With dx12 titles coming out soon it will help the apu perform better?
How does a quad core apu fare against 4 i3 threads?
I recently bought a cheap pair of Headrush IEM headphones, but exchanged them because the left was noticeably quieter than the right. The replacement pair was better, but the right earpiece makes this sound that is a mix between a popping and a crackling when the tip is compressed, meaning when it is inserted. When even adjusted slightly or improperly sealed, the sound becomes extremely muffled.
Is there anyway I can fix this or should I ask for my money back?
It's important to note that the left is still quieter than the right, just less so.

Just hack your amazon dash button so it buys dragon dildos.

are the low calorie ones normally available with prime? it costs more to ship them right now than it does for the product itself
How do you normally choose a motherboard for your build before buying it?
Of course you'll have to look for a motherboard that suits your needs. If you either want usb 3.0, what kind of PCI slots and how many you want, etc. But how exactly do you do that? Do you just google for specific boards until you find the right one or do you use a good website for organized smart choosing?
Like for example pcpartpicker for the components. Any tips or advice you could give?
pic related. it's a random image of a mainboard I picked from the internet.
Community support is vital so buy the most popular.
>>51238293
I used to pick a cpu first and then pick the board I want to go with it that can overclock and supports the memory I want.
While the above is still true, accessories are far more important now.
Biggest thing now is deciding if you want CPU LGA 1150 (DDR3 memory) or CPU LGA 1151 (DDR4 memory). After that find a motherboard with M.2 x4 (32gb).
I'm getting the LGA 1150 ASRock Z97 Extreme6/3.1, unless I can find something way cheaper.
I just missed a $100 sale on Amazon for an LGA 1151...

I make a list of all motherboards from reputable manufacturers that meet the requirements that I have, and then sort by price. Then I look through the cheapest ones and compare reviews. If the reviews pan out I Google to see if there are any other issues that the reviews didn't address. If all went well, then I buy that motherboard. It's a similar process to finding a prostitute, really.

Does EQing make all similarly priced headphones sound the same? Or are there specific characteristics that the headphones retain even after EQ? Can it make muddy headphones stop sounding muddy?

4/5. There's something off but I can't put my finger on it.
Noticed my 2nd 280x wasn't recognized by my system the other day. Opened my case, pulled out both cards, put the "bad" one in alone, confirmed it was "dead".
Put just the "good" card in...suddenly, it is "dead" as well. Meaning, fans spin up and computer appears to turn on. However, monitors continue to sleep and computer doesn't POST.
XFX claims it's probably the motherboard since "there is no way two cards would both fail at the same time".
Thinking about RMAing both anyway since they're...

I want to know if Linux is a better option than windows because I heard it was better. I just want to know whats better about it. That's why I made this thread
Meta asf linux builds?
I'm starting a linux VM and i want it to look as cool as possible. Like that thread with the webm of the guy with the safebooru thing and the simplistic desktop.
Also i wanna start another VM with a retro DE like CDE or KDE 1.
b u m p
as for the first, just go with some window manager, learn it's ins and outs. As for a retro desktop, just go with CDE, it looks amazing.

babby shit, confirmed underage
What the fuck is pic related? Are there people who actually start the name of things with an underscore? How the fuck do you get taught such an inefficient and useless convention instead of camelCasing?
Prefixing variables is basically what you do if you don't want anyone to use them, but still want them in the global scope.... Or if you're a php dev, may God have mercy on you.
Prefixing fields with an underscore is a standard u mong
Confirmed for never having worked with Python.
Underscore means protected variables because Python can't into true scoping / namespaces / whatever.
People use underscope as a workaround for this. I find it _hilarious.

I'm using a TreeMap data structure for the first time, and I'm trying to write a program that finds the most popular/occurring integer entered. I can display the integers entered as keys and the occurrence of each as the values.
I don't know how to translate this information into something where I can state/display which integer, or integers, occurred the most. Can some one explain the logic that goes with this? I can't really think of an algorithm to display the most occurring elements....
