Anyone got any info on what's going on with cryptostorm? I keep hearing shit about developers being tortured, and someones dog being murdered. Anyone know the full story, and why this happened, and if it's true?
somebody above the devs was pmsing and started killing the dogs and the dudes
I could tell you but I'd need your name and address first.

Also pointless internet drama that people are stirring up for no reason. Ignore it.
Well Black Friday is coming so I want to upgrade my video card to better support my 4K monitor. Is the water cooled Titan X still my best option or perhaps a 980ti?
What about next year? Will Nvidia be dropping anything worth waiting for come spring 2016?
If you want to play vidya in 4K your best option with no alternatives is 980ti SLI, ~$1200
>>51320198
So the extra memory on the titan isnt worth it?
>>51320323
Hell no it is not worth it
Hey, I'm not that into computer tech but I need to buy new hard drive. What are the thing I'm suppost to look into when buying a hard drive? I have something like 100euro to spent on it. Thank you, and sorry for my "engladoo".
WD caviar blue 1tb
Avoid shitty unreliable brands like Seagate. Western Digital or Hitachi should do you good. Apart from that you can get a decent amount of storage for 100 Euro.
Get something relatively reputable and well-priced.
You are almost without a doubt going to end up buying a 1TB Seagate Barracuda or 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue.
Get whatever's cheapest, at that kind of storage space they're all about the same reliability wise.
What the fuck is that at the bottom right? It just randomly appeared
You've been visited by the spooky sombrero. Good headwear will come to you, but only if you say "thank mr sobreo"
I don't see anything weird on the bottom right.

Are there any ligament reasons to hate Apple besides being a nonconformist?

I'm not sure OP, you haven't supplied a ligament reason for me to respond.

When you turn your PC on, there is some sense of engine-like noises from the fans (especially on AMD Gfx) but there is no vibrations, exhaust gases, fuel, or need of maintenance.
Even the PSU, the part that is supposed to provide the pc with power, analogous to the engine of a car, never needs repair or maintenance. This is why PCs will always be for nerds, if it was actually requiring of muscle and mechanical know-how to operate, then it would be more widely accepted by the normies. Every normie respects the Mechanic at the car garage. Because they know that they cannot...

THIS IS NOT A GENERAL DEVICE. THIS IS THE FUTURE OF MOBILE PHONES
I've been using pic related for a few days for note taking and writing in tiny 1x1cm grid paper in my lab notebook. However the ink isn't waterproof, which could potentially be problematic if my chemistry gets a little out of control. I have a sakura pigma micron 01 that I also like but I've read (but not experienced) that the nub wears down quickly.
So anything good that has like a .3mm tip or smaller? Waterproof preferred.
i love writing with super-fine pens
these threads are so stupid, but I love them. I wish they didn't die so fast
>>51319426
>tiny 1x1cm
Fat-fingered western devil detected
I suggest a) get graph paper with a smaller grid, 5mm is pretty good, and b) try using a mechanical pencil instead of a pen, you can get them down to 0.2mm and they're better than those shitty pens in your pic.

I finally got some decent headphones but it turns out that the integrated sound from my motherboard cant drive them (too much static).
So, what'd be the cheapest way to listen to some decent music? Internal sound card? usb sound card? Amp? Pic related?
>>51319110
What headphones you got?
Whats your budget? Source material?
I have one of those USB soundcards OP.
Works perfectly fine.

Sennheiser HD 205-II (Not the best, I know but I found them on clearance)

~$50 (maybe more but I'd have to scrape from my food budget)

For the longest time ram speed was a non issue for the most part
Is this starting to change with new games?
Will X99 and quad channel DDR4 offer bigger benefits outside of content creation?
Or is this just bad game optimization?
>playing shitout 4
I've seen DDR3 up to 2900MHz
Why don't they test with that, surely at some point it shouldn't matter anymore
DDR4 can go way higher too
Guess I'm glad I got cas15 3000 ddr4
