Who is this erection selection
This thing looks sweet as fuck.
My mom has a Chromebook, but it's permanently attached to her TV and she only ever looks at the TV display. She coulda' got this for less than a hundred bucks (with a wireless keyboard) and be set for a PC. The time we live in.

cool story fäm
What am I looking at? Chrome OS on a stick? Does it need s power source? Looks like it's just plugged via hdmi in photo. If it needs power I see no benefit over an android stick or Chromecast
>>51391387
It needs AC power (you can see the hole for it in the picture). On the back it has a USB2 port.
Basically a low-end ARM Chromebook in a Chromecast form-factor. When I first heard about it figured it'd be ULTRA slow, but this PCmag review says it's decent (HD video no problem): http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2479688,00.asp#
What does /g/ think about AWS? I just learned about and I must confess it's really amazing.

Any alternative to Pushbullet?
Why does it seem like people are pushing Gnome 3 so hard?
It seems like almost every video or picture I see of someone somewhat prolific using Linux, it's always with Gnome 3?
>everyone using something means they must be pushing it
Kill yourself you retarded weeb.
>>51391068
b-but why else would someone use it if it's so polarizing?
>>51391152
Polarizing? Because Torvalds autism makes him hate it? Shut the fuck up, people use what they find to be functional. Delete your thread, this is a non-issue.
My wife likes expensive and over-priced shit so naturally she wants an apple watch.
I have a job at mcdonalds, so I can afford it, but I just wanted to know if there were any worthwhile alternatives.
>>51390996
>I have a job at mcdonalds, so I can afford it
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Sure.
1. Find a better job
2. Remind your wife that the position your life is in currently doesn't allow frivolous spending.

Hey people!
Some days ago I decided to download Kali Linux, i downloaded the light version. I really liked the OS style, so i downloaded the Primary version!
But unfortunately i get the "Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occured and the system can't recover" and i need to use the "startx" command, by clikcing CNTRL+ALT+F1. It also doesnt works, so i use the "apt-get x-software-system" and i need and internet connection to use the apt-get, and I've got a Realtek Wireless adapter. The real problem is that i cannot connect...

If you can't workout how to connect to wifi then I think kali isn't the right distro for you.
>>51390948
fuck that shit... download arch and install the necessary software that you would use in Kali

I have a stupid question, /g/. How THE FUCK do I stream stuff conveniently from my mac in my local network? Basically I want to access its files from my phone. I can access it via sftp but it's painfully slow, and when I try smb, it says wrong password. I did everything according to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204445
Why does it matter if my CPU runs cool? I can see it being at melting point being an issue, but why should I give a crap if the processor is 42C instead of 40C?
>>51390966
Your CPU will get slower is it gets too hot.

I'm looking to get a smart watch to go with my phone. Should I buy now or is it likely that there will be good deals on them with the upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals?
Hello /g/
I just read about all the snooping and devilry the tech giants are doing.
I never knew, no one told me, I need to escape this hell we know as reality, I'm fucking shitting a brick here, Google and Microsoft and amazon and all those fuckers know exactly who I am, spying on my hentai and porn watching activities.
How do I escape? I play vidjagemu, but I need to move to Linux, I use a Note5. I'm seriously panicking here.
What is my first step? I don't know how to use linux, what is compiling? I keep hearing this word and I...

most of your questions could be answered via a quick search via startpage/searx. but if you're a super noob to GNU/Linux and have questions, don't hesitate to ask the /flt/
>>51386475
Install Gentoo.
Well, a GNU/Linux distribution anyway. Dual boot windows for games while you get good, making sure to avoid Windows for your CP/terror plans. When you know more use a windows VM with a VGA passthrough.
Oh, and your phone is probably a lost cause, but you can check if something like replicant is available for it. If not getting away from google (i.e. cyanogen with no GApps) is better than nothing.
Been struggling with this Java code for 3 days now.
I want to check how many integer elements of two ArrayLists have the same value.public static int equals(List<Integer>list1, List<Integer>list2){
int correct=0;
for(int i = 0;i<LENGTH;i++){
if(list1.contains(list1.get(i))&&list2.contains(list2.get(i))){
correct++;
}
}
return correct;
}
How would /g/ do...

LENGTH isn't declared
>>51390490
It's declared outside of the method
>>51390508
That's not how java works, also for integer#.
Just use list.lenght()
