Let's fantasize a little /g/
What technologies (existent or not) would you like to see industrialized and available for the average human being?
I'd like to see 3D printers become as common as normal paper printers. They're fucking sick
>>51396402
probably will be in like 10-20 years
>>51396302
Full sized human Bots with realistic or semi realistic reactions programed into them.
Oh and cheaper lightbulbs and casings that would act as projectors via a proprietary open source wireless connection.
What's the best torrent client?
I've been using deluge for ages but is there something better?
Transmission. You can set your upload to 0kb/s so you don't waste any of your precious upload bandwidth "giving back to the community" or whatever. It probably has other features too but who cares

AVX and HD X000 GPU
>add more GHz
>shrink the die
Those aren't noteworthy at all ?

Not really...
You will spend so much time taking your PC back to replace failed parts. Prebuilts are all built with shit PSUs and parts component shoppers have sent back (someone from my class worked assembling prebuilt PCs over the summer). If you ever upgrade your machine, you won't be able to take it back due to warranty problems and will waste money replacing the parts/machine.
I've had many technically illiterate friends ask me about PCs. The ones who built them themselves (or got me to help) have had no problems, the ones who went and bought prebuilts? Not so much.
What are some good books to learn programming like C++ for beginners and should i start with c++ and if not what books are good for those.

No. Not unless you have a specific reason to use it over every other language.

im learning c++ as a first language. why shouldnt i? what other magical language js better?
>>51396053
>why shouldnt i?
Because you won't have enough experience with anything else in order to understand C++'s flaws. C++ shouldn't be avoided by a beginner because it's "too hard", I'm sure there are many people starting out who are smart enough to handle what's generally demanded of you by the language to get shit done. Its that C++ is designed in a really stupid way, but a beginner, not understanding what's wrong because they know nothing...

look at the history of nvidia cards, its not like they drop in price massively after a new card comes out
dropped phone in toilet, wet as fuck. main concern is my memory card, which i tried in other phones and my laptop and is damaged.
So many memories on this card; can someone tell me how to extract the files? I know there is software available but idk which ones to use.
Here's what comes up on screen when put sd card in.
PLS HELP
It's fried, there is no magical software than can recover it. Hopefully you learned you don't keep such valuable files on a single volatile flash card.
please no
