I'm not on Microsoft's marketing team, so I can't say for certain. There is a reason the Win 10 is free, but I don't think it's for the reasons people are thinking.
Giving away Win 10 for free makes sense from a business standpoint. Microsoft's main source of revenue is not the private sector. I highly doubt the income from selling the OS to consumers even covers the cost of development and marketing. Hey /g/ just got 2 Genelec 4040 speakers, got them from a friend for about 750~ dollars, they are brand new.
what do you guys think of genelec? these were fucking expensive but are they worth it?

Looks like the 8040 with a different mounting. If that is the case, a good price for the Genelecs. Genelec is one of the better/best audio companies.
But do you like them, that is the important thing.
I like the smaller genelecs (8250 and 8020 in this case) a lot because they're perfect for mobile use with the built-in speaker grilles, carrying bags, mic stand threads on the bottom and glm measuring system and whatnot
but in direct comparison with other speakers in the same price ranges it's always noticeable how they really depend on the glm, with no correction their general timbre is a tad harsh. the new 83xx series is lots of fun and their tweeter design seems to be tweaked. I'm looking forward to testing the 8351 for an extended period

Awk is both simple and awesome what the fuck are you talking about. It takes less than an hour of reading the fucking manual to understand how it works.
Compare that to a week learning a shitperative language to write 50 lines of code to process lines of text.

Sup /g/ so I made a new PC and I was playing Heroes of the Storm and PC shut down.
Build is pic related and PSU is CX750M corsair, looks like the PSU does a weird mechanical sound every 10 seconds while playing any game, I think 750w should be enough for my rig, so maybe it's faulty? could be any other thing?

Hello, I was referred here by someone from /b/. I recently acquired a very old adding machine made by "Victor". It looks exactly like the model with the crank that I seem to find everywhere I look, but for the life of me can't find any pictures or information on one with an electrical cord like mine. Both side panels do not have any holes or marks where a crank should have gone, it was manufactured with the cord and power box.
