Anybody having issues connecting a 360 controller to windows 10?
My device manager tells me everything is hunky dory but I can't get my controller to connect. I've searched around for solutions but nothing seems to help.
Any ideas on how I could fix it?

My roommate had a busted up 360 and not I use the controllers for emulating games on the machine we hook up to the living room television. I've avoided upgrading to 10 because it is cancer, but let's start with the dumb shit first: Are these wired or wireless? Do you have the IR dongle thingy for USB conectivity?
>>51532343
are you using a dongle? if so update the driver and select the option to choose from a list of drivers.
Choose one until it works

Why is every TOR connection I make now run through this one IP address 1st? Anyone confirm - ? NSA tracking T-error-ists?? OR is it my ISP routing me there??????

Entry nodes should change every time you refresh or re-route. This never does..... ever.....
Hello /g/
So after weeks of looking everywhere and being completely confused I've finally attempted to assemble a PC that's sub$400 and can decently run games. Thoughts and/or criticism on the parts?
If you want to be able to upgrade get an lga 1151 mobo/cpu and ddr4 ram
instead of the i3 check out the intel pentium anniversary (g3258 or something). yes its dual core but its overclockable and the mobos are cheap
I don't really want to mess around with over clocking. I was considering the pentium but it doesn't have hyper threading and people were saying it doesn't multi task very well
What tech items are on your Christmas list?
>>51532067
Why not get them on black friday/cyber monday?
>>51532239
Why do that when OP can make his parents do it?

I bought the new one with fucking random pocket change, because I wanted the second generation, even thought I have the first Chromecast.
Do you work at fucking Mc'Donald's?
Seriously, WTF is this?

currently running a Nvidia 660ti with a i7-920 @2.66 ghz. thinking of making a jump up to a 980ti, would the processor be bottle necking the video card if i made this upgrade?
Yes, that's a high tier GPU and you're pairing it with a low tier CPU. At least upgrade to an i5-4690k.
The i7 will last longer. Upgrade gpu now and upgrade cpu when next gen intel chip or amd zen comes out.
the idea was to just upgrade GPU now because i'm starting to see a loss in performance in newer games, and then down the line a bit go with a new mobo and cpu. but if i'm not gonna notice any performance increase with a 980 now because of bottleneck i will just wait
Just leaving this here

Also they seem to be more progressive than nvida, they are rumored to use 16nm.
>Currently Amd/Nvida cards have 9.4/6 billion transistors per bloc using 22nm
>If AMD switch's to 14nm they could fit 14.6ish billion, which would be the first +10 billion transistor bloc
>Even if they loose in the performance department, they should hopefully still be appealing due to presumably high power efficientlyComment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I think I know what I want for Christmas, been using virtual piano for some time and decided to just learn how to play the piano. Anyone here play the piano? Is 88key a must? Will this suffice for learning on my own with my spare time? or can I get something better for $200 max? Or what other cool music instrument type of shit can you buy for $200, company gift certificate, so 200 is the max.

If i was NASA id sue the fuck out of him for making the company look bad.
NASA, like any institution in 2015, is run by self-hating white progressives who would never DARE criticise a nonwhite person.
OP, chill out. they made a mistake by giving him all this attention. the mature thing is to collect your shit and move on.
All non-PR/HR people at NASA know that the whole thing is a sham
I went from a One plus one to an iphone 6s and i'm completely underwhelmed with the hype.
Pros;
Apple/OSX at my job makes it easier.
Blue texting for popular opinions.
Fingerprint sensor is great.
Cons;
Dat resolution on the screen
Dat screen size
The speaker quality
No SD card
Well that was a waste of $650.
Only good thing is it has decent resale value.
What phone should I get instead /g/?

I'm pretty content with my LG G4 man. For the price of 420 dude weed, I don't think you can go wrong.
I always wondered how really is the life of a hacker. For starters, all hackers have a day job, or can you be skilled enough to create some money? How much work you have to put in a hard hack, like weeks or months? How the work itself goes? By trial and error? with downtimes, like 'fuck it, today I do something else to let my brain steam down'? And then, how much you know other hackers, working in team is normal? Mb you even go live togheder like a pro vg team? And a hacker goes to countries where is less to be found/inprisoned?
There is so much misticism around...

"hackers" aren't what you think they are. and computers aren't some magical devices you can use an axe to hack through like jack nicholson.
