the v10 is superior in every way that matters

I am using MPC-HC v1.7.10 and when I play videos from my Nexus 5X the videos are upside down, what do?
How do you have a computer program on your phone
>>51550164
a phone is a computer, doe
>>51550164
Phones are computers too, anon.
Don't be a phonephobe, /g/ is a progressive and accepting knitting forum.
I'll be texting back and forth and as soon as I receive a MMS from the same person it splits the conversation in two. One for texts, another for MMS.
I'm using the default messenger on the Nexus 6P, I can't find a solution anywhere..

Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with GNU/Linux (not recommended)
If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies),
we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks,...

What gaming laptop should I buy?
Some that I'm currently considering are the MSI GE62, the Dell XPS 15, and the Alienware 15.
>>51549905
>>What gaming laptop should I buy?
don't
>>51549950
This is the only real advice you can take OP
If you want games, get a pc
If you want a laptop, get a laptop
You'd even be saving money by buying a thinkpad and custom building your own pc
>>51549905
>Dell XPS 15
>Gaming on an ultrabook
Really, you don't game on a laptop. I went through that phase in middle school. You can't upgrade it. They are basically desktops because their battery life is absolute shit. Save your money and get a desktop. You'll thank yourself later.
>convince me to stop gaming and install linux
if you give me valid reasons why i should remove windows 10 and switch to linux i'll install either arch of gentoo to switch to linux

dual boot; use gnu/linux as daily OS and switch over to windows whenever you feel like gaming for a bit
No fuck off.

Stop it. Just give in to proprietary software. We already lost. Now let's just stop caring and enjoy proprietary software. If you still want to remove stock bios i recommend core booy. It has better support. I guess.

Holy shit, that's the most fascist thing I've read today. Stop caring about freedom? What's wrong with you, man?

I always wanted to get one.
Decided against it because I play games occasionally and it doesn't seem like it'd work that well for them.
Hey guys, having some trouble here with getting good info on Home surveillance systems, Can you guys give me any advice and thoughts on what would be the best route to go.
I need High quality images in real time that can be viewed on multiple monitors including remote monitoring. Weather proof, Night vision that doesn't suck. Are these all in one kits the way to go? I was looking at this > Q-See QT5682-8E3-1 8 Channel.
Bump for interest
All-in-one kits are bad because you pay for stuff you don't need.
Stick with Sony.
It is weird that nobody shilled raspberry pi meme yet.

cheapass ikea shit
i've been playing on a gaming laptop from 2010 and it was getting pretty outdated so i figured it was time for me to build a PC. so upon my dad hearing about this idea and my birthday coming up in a week, i found out he got me a 30" 4k monitor and now my pc part checklist is probably too cheap to support that.
mind me, i don't have the greatest knowledge in computer parts so... i'm gonna have to splurge on a better graphics card, right? what do i splurge on and what can i budget on? i need help.
Just play the games at 1080p unscaled to 4K if your computer is too shit to run games at 4K. But yes, you want a nice GPU.
>>51549315
Link your current part list and how much $ you have to work with.
Budgeting is hard for 4k gaming. Yeah, your going to want a high end gpu, possibly even in sli depending on which you get. Just do what the other anon said and play them at 1080p. Much easier and wallet friendly.
