What's the best way to get to get the most power/range out of this thing? Besides setting the txpower manually. Right now I have an antenna like pic related. Is there something else I could buy to increase the reception/ability to send? I don't really know a lot about wireless signals.

Haven't tried on the Sennheisers before, but I went for the Boses since they're incredibly comfy.
Check your Amex for a $15 off $60 deal for Amazon. Barring that, use Chase's seasonal 10% back.
Pretty much everybody on /g/ who doesn't have a deep hatred of sennheiser bought it today.
Either that or the Phillips ones going for like $50 at newegg.

just bought them, thanks anon
You know what to do, /g/, show us how you play your illegally downloaded songs. Mobile and desktop screenshots welcome. Pic related is mine.

Linuxfags why did you switch to Linux from whatever it was you used to use?
games stopped being fun to me
movies and tv too
I kinda liked tinkering with the system and once I reached some limits in windows I started to tinker with linux
I still dual boot of course but I know I am forever main OS linux user
>>51563728
This isn't really it for me
>>51563548
1. No viruses
2. Faster boot times
3. It's free
4. It's free (the other meaning)
5. Tons of distros to choose from
6. It doesn't "break" as often as Windows done (somewhat debatable, but it's true in my experience)
7. Customizable
8. More programming tools
9. Better performance (also debatable)
10. The community is much more existent and much more helpful
My laptop is just too shitty.
Hey guys, wife picked this up today. Got it for 150 bucks, normally it's like 208 or whatever. Thought i could use it successfully. We currently have an AT&T modem, which has the router and modem in one, but we are moving to a new area soon and are going to get better internet from AT&T since we currently are getting (lol) 3mb. We will be getting like 20 when we move. Can someone explain to me if this router is worth a shit? We both play video games and watch netflix and shit, 150 seems kinda up there, we can afford it but just thought id ask you guys.

Nope, not on stock firmware atleast.
Flash it with DD-WRT and then fix that shit up to your licking.
Also
>20 mb.
dats shit nigga.
I've had the "Nighthawk" for about 6 months now (its the earlier model of this router) Can confirm that Stock firmware is a bit lacking in comparison to DD-WRT, BUT you lose AC with DD-WRT. Stick with stock as it seems like you don't know much about networking (no shame in that) and you will be happy. Has support for openVPN client, and if you register the product you get the netgear dyndns clone option as well!
My Gf bought a pc for gaming
I don't know shit about them
can any of you tell me if these specs are decent or did she waste her money
I don't know how to write this stuff out so I'm gonna right it like it is on the pc

pls help, GTX 970 kernel drivers is constantly crashing (causes my comp to freeze for 3 secs), and I keep seeing red blocked pixels on my screen. It's not overheating, and I'm on the latest drivers.
Also I checked online and did anything I could find, such as using previous drivers, enabling max perf, and configuring physx.
Wtf do I do. :S

>What is IPFS?
A fully decentralized, distributed and encrypted file distribution platform.
>why would one use it
* Distributed and decentralized: no single point of failure, censorship-resistant.
* You can have a mutable address (i.e. always points to the latest version of a site), or a static address (points to a specific file). Yes, you can host sites over IPFS.
* Peers are found fast for new downloads. You don't need to wait that much to start a download.
* You can watch your animu while it downloads, I watched few episodes that way and it didn't even buffer.

(over ipfs)
>how to upload a single file
$ ipfs add ./$file
Access it at localhost:8080/ipfs/$outputted-hash
>how to upload a dir
$ ipfs add -r ./$dir
Access it at localhost:8080/ipfs/$last-outputted-hash
>how to make the thing mutable
$ ipfs name publish ./$file-or-dir-hash
Access it at localhost:8080/ipns/$output-hash-aka-peerid (it's ipNs not ipFs)
To update, publish another hash and it will be available at the same IPNS address.

Just got this keyboard... I'm so sorry that I held out getting a mechanical for so long... fuuuuuuu-----
I mean, who the hell decided we should go away from mechanical switches?
