Is virtualbox not suitable to run any windows games in it?
I tried undertale, TIS100, some touhou thing - none of them worked. The only thing I can get running is RPG maker games.
Am I just having really bad luck? Is it stupid to want to play gamen inside a vm on linux rather than having the inconvenience of rebooting into windows to do it? Otherwise is there a guide which would let me get things like this up and running?
I'd like to hear any games you do play with it and what win version and if you needed any hacks to get it running. Cheers.
>Is virtualbox not suitable to run any windows games in it?
iirc virtualbox doesn't support 3d acceleration, even tho it has the checkbox, at least in version 4, I don't know about the v 5
Hey /g/ents. Surely this cpu+mobo combo is compatible right?
PCPARTPICKER is warning me that they're incompatible but I see no reason they should be.
Trouble is I've already ordered them.
Are these anywhere near worth the price over something like a 900D?
>spend 500 on just the case
>have to spend another 40-100 just in the given options to actually use the case fully
>Oh you actually want /storage/ or god forbid a CD drive? That'll be another 100+ please
>Fan filters? What are those? I think this company makes those for our cases
>another 80-100 dollars
So to actually get a usable case...

Working on it. Progress so far seems good. What do you think /g/uys?
I have six months to study programming and reenter the job market as a dev, what area should I study towards? Webdev is the obvious one
You just need a portfolio of completed programs and I have 3 years of experience in systems engineering so I can fudge it a bit. Hell some people who take those 10 week ruby boot camps come out making $80k

My computer is from June 2006, nice named "The Steel Tank", prebuild Dell XPS 630i. My top priority is video editing with Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe After Effects CC. I also game on it, but mainly mid-tier standard games (I don't need to run The Witcher 3 on max settings or anything). What should I upgrade next to get the most bang for my buck? I'm not sure if I should upgrade the RAM or the CPU, but I just recently upgraded the GPU, replaced the case fans after they broke, and reinstalled my OS on a newly installed SSD. I have a budget of roughly $100-$150.
It's literally in the sticky you fat mess. If you can't work it out yourself by doing just a bit of research, you should just fuck off.

How do I make a profit selling pre built PCs if the operating system is the highest cost item?
Is M$ just begging me to sell pirated software to compete with brand name stores?
Pirate win7, activate it. Download win10 update tool and undate to win10. Now you have a legit free windows copy with a real licence key and all. People that buy prebuilt rigs aren't savy enough to not want win10 coz botnet anyway. Have fun
You can even go further. Have 1 drive with pirated win7 that is activated. Proceed to put it in as a second drive in a rig and use updater tool to install win10 on the second drive. Use the win7 drive on all the computers
Is it possible to buy a macbook if you're on a budget? 13' air seems most affordable, or should i go with pro?
I can understand some guy buying a macbook with their parents money if they don't give a fuck, but buying a mac on a budget is absolutely retarded
you're purposely buying an -for the price- underpowered computer simply because it has osx
> Same problem with in ear headphones every time (for my phone)
> Plug/cable is defect at some point
> Audio is just played on one ear
> I have to adjust the position of the plug (turning it around) to be able to hear my music on both ears
> movement in my pocket creates the same problem over and over again
Does anyone have a good fix for this?
Hey /g/, got a little present for you...
I recently got hold of a OnePlus 2 and got sent three new invites. If anybody wants one post your favorite means of anonymous communications and I will try to get a hold of you any way you want. Either sent me your steam name or something like that or if you like it risky just your e-mail. I don't really care. The first two guys that post get two keys. The third key will go to the first of you getting dubs.
