You alright there /g/uise?
I know, sue me, after having a decently entry high-end setup (gtx 780SC, i7 4770k, 16gb ram) I've finally bought an SSD (1tb)
I'm installing w7 on it tomorrow, and I was wondering, how can I debloat the shit out of it? Like the literal shit out of it.
Any programs? guides? Pro-tips?
Thank you!

why is this after 6 years still a maymay?
Can we please talk about this Website. Does it mean that we are stuck in the matrix?

There's a character limit iirc, the number of permutations it can generate is not "infinite"
>>51742985
Right but I feel like it's a small glimpse of something bigger. Just because the website can only find you 3200 characters at a time doest mean that if you had better programing ie stronger tools you could see further into the "infinte".
>>51742937
It is imperfect. Such a thing cannot and will not exist in its proper form for a good period of time.
What a shame.
Hey /g/, what linux distro is the best for desktop users who are familiar with linux, but only want to deal with bullshit occasionally?
I think its either Debian or Xubuntu (software compatibility), and I'm leaning toward using Debian.
>>51742875
Debian is what fits better the scenario, absolutely. Debian, or as I've recently taken calling it "Linux minus Autism".
>>51742875
It's a matter of opinion so your's is as good as any.
>>51742875
Debian.
Why does Google think it is acceptable to put multitasking and local saving behind a pay wall? I understand the introduction of exclusive content and an ad-free experience but why this?

they should've just named it redtube
so much more simpler

NewPipe doesn't have this problem.

why some people think CRT monitors are better than LCD?
>>51742834
Because some CRT are better than bad LCD
Because they have fast response times and nice blacks.
But a good quality lcd has those too, and are way less bulky.
Higher refresh rates, better blacks, better response times.

When do you think Zen will be out in fully fledged consumer version and will you buy one?
Will AMD get into the high performing segment of the market again?
>>51742723
There's rumors of Zen-compatible motherboards coming in march.
no, i built my lmaolake pc when it was released. thank god i did bought it on release tho, the prices right now are retarded. £370 for the 6700k, i paid like £270 the day it came out.
i do hope zen is a competitive product, and we see something with more ipc than at least a 2500k lol
Q2-Q3 2016.
And no I won't buy one. I have no issue with AMD, and I hope Zen is great to create some competition for Intel. But I have a 4790k and will have no real reason to upgrade for a while.
Do you know any small open source projects to learn more about code?
Everything I can think about is too big and will over overwhelm me.
Don't "just pick a random shit from github" because I don't know what I have to look for and the point is to learn to do things better not worse...
Do you want to learn how to code from the beginning or do you already kinda know what you're doing?

Idk but that picture gives me like a 3/4 boner every time
And then every time I look it up and go through the set, I eventually end up cumming in my pants even though there are no nudes
>>51742703
I already know what I'm doing but I want to check some projects to improve and see how other people do things.
My country wants to ban using TOR.
What is the most likely mechanism they might try to implement for attempting that, and how is it going to fail?
But more importantly, what mechanism might they try as a second attempt?
block all tor nodes' ips

fun fact: they also want to ban public wifi

Hey everyone, I'm currently on a mission to modify the SteamOS xpad driver to fix the wireless Xbox360 controller support. I'm hoping some of you can help point me in the right direction regarding tools I can use to gather the data I need to make the modifications to the xpad driver.
The issue is that games made in GameMaker Studio (Risk of Rain, Nuclear Throne, Hero Siege, BLACKHOLE, Sky Mercenaries, etc...) do not work with official Microsoft Xbox360 wireless controllers. I filed a bug report with YoYo Games but they are unwilling to acknowledge that this...

Game maker studio has support for xbox360 controllers, if it's not defined as a controller it's defined as a joystick and you'd be using those functions instead.
Please do not post videogames+xpadder+gamemaker+programming help in /G. It's a mistake.

The issue here is that wireless controllers are not detected at all

I'm not. I'm asking for help regarding GNU/Linux tools to gather data about joysticks connected to my computer. I can do the...

JavaFX, array of 6 sides of dice pics, RNG 1 through 6 (twice), display both those results using the pictures in the array.

Hey g, I got an r9 390 and I didn't have enough power connectors on my psu to hook it up. It uses a 6 pin and 8 pin.
I only had 2 molex connectors left and needed an 8 pin, so I hooked it up like this.
So I did some burn in tests and it seems to be fine. This is fine right?
It's a no name came with the case powersupply.
>>51742034
oh sorry didn't mention I did already have a 6pin on the powersupply.
>>51742034
I hope this is b8, but if it isn't, get a new PSU ASAP.
My cousin tried this type of shit with a 660Ti and it fried his PSU, he was lucky it didn't take the GPU and/or motherboard with it.
>>51742056
Was he lucky? I haven't heard of anyone frying shit with their psu in the past like the past 8 years or so. I'm pretty sure it's just a /g/ meme.
