I should preface this with the fact that I know nothing about building PCs. That being said, I'm using logicalincrements as a guide.

should i learn javascript then c# then c++ or should i learn python? (pic not related)
Just learn Swift for everything
>>51746822
Depends what you want to do. Whats your aim?
If it just for shits'n'giggles, from that list I would go python, c#, c++. Dont bother with javascript, it'll rot your brain.
But really I'd recommend c, python, c#, c++
>>51747131
so c would be a good start then python?
Where is the sweet spot in terms of age for buying used technology?
2012 seems pretty based right now.
>>51746783
>2012
Try 2009 OP. My rig which plays and has played all recent games from 2009 just now finally is giving me some srs problems.
>GTX 460 and a processor right before sandy bridge came out.
>>51746783
If you're looking for gaming performance, 2012 was great. First generation of GCN, and Sandy Bridge.
>>51747319
If it is giving you some srs problems I'd say it is no longer the sweet spot.

I think it's another hackathon, like the several ones that they've held before. But I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to be.

That was one of the first things I did, which all it does is just confirm what I speculated above. But it really doesn't help when half the text on the page is in images.
Was wondering but it seems like it won't be translated into other languages in the meantime.

Anyone else use this kind of setup? Way better for your lower back.

>>51746574
I'd love that. Not for my lower back, that's fine. For my neck. I've had a bulged disc (presumably) for about eight years now. It gets better, it gets worse. Fucking sucks.
There's some mega-nerd on the Internet (like, a well-known algorithms guy, I don't remember) who basically has a custom Laz-Y-Boy setup that works a bit like that, but at more of a 45 degree angle.
It would be easier to sell if it wasn't photographed with a fucking eMac.

I am in need of computer speakers.
What kind of ghetto blasters does /g/ bump
Preferably under $100, looking for good quality, loud with decent bass.
My aim is to be able to induce PTSD when I'm playing Rising Storm/Red Orchestra or make my room sound like a club when I'm blasting my 90's german techno
>>51746102
1. Go to a thrift store, secondhand store, something like that.
2. Pick out the least shitty looking bookshelf speakers they have
3. Buy a Lepai LP-2020A+ amp to power them
And in three steps, you have a better speaker setup than any "computer" speakers that sell for less than $250.

Logitech Z623's

i just go to work and use internet2
so it was all just a publicity stunt. that's a shame.
Austin's network was significantly delayed by AT&T, who threw the legal equivalent of a blithering foaming-at-the-mouth tantrum, appalled that Austin would dare grant a competitor utility right of way.
At least Time Warner pissed their pants in fear and gave me 300Mbps.

It's a US law so you're fine.
Are they going to sue the entirety of the consumer internet market?
They can't seriously expect to make dynamic IPs illegal.
I currently have a Sennheiser PC320, I'm willing to update it, since I learned the hard way that open design is complete shit.
Anyway I considered the Sennheiser GAME ZERO, but since I'm willing to pay that amount I wonder if there is another brand or is it really that good Sennheiser (The mic experience is pretty good, tho)
Other headset I considered are the Logitech G633 since it's 7.1 and not THAT expensive.
Anyway, help pls. I just want a really good sound quality I don't care about the lights the headset emmit.
>>>/hpg/
The best advice you will get there and anywhere was that sale for 100 buck sennheisers on black friday then buy your mic separate.
But since black friday has passed I guess you should probably just go to former suggestion, get a regular headset, and a cheap mic off amazon.
Pro-tip: these headsets will force you to use push to talk because a mic so close to your face picks up breathing.
>>51745897
I'd prefer having everything together. Don't care if is analog, usb or optical.
I just want a headset that are not like PC320 with a nice mic. A brand a least.
>>51745977
I have a PC363d and it's really nice, got it for free when I sent back an old PC360 because it had some microphone problems.
Probably not the best, infact it can't be.

Just got a korg midi keyboard in that was damn near free on cyber monday. How babby make chipshit? What VSTs are a must? I want that ironic sound mixed with the fatness of actual synths but have been almost entirely analog up until now.
