What's a good successor to a 2500K? I love the CPU but I need something with better power usage and for a more modern ITX board.
if linux is so great why havent they reverse engineered the Elgato and Avermedia capture card drivers to work on their distros?
that's the only reason im on windows 10, which is pirated btw so the whole "its free" gimmick doesnt apply and never will for W10 going forward
>im on windows 10, which is pirated btw
Reported. Have fun in jail.
>which is pirated btw so the whole "its free" gimmick doesnt apply
Literally what, and why?
Pirate windows 7, upgrade to windows 10, ta-da.
You now own a free, legal copy.
What fucking point is there to pirating windows 10 directly/
any suggestions on my build?
Does the media really not now how modern encryption systems work? Do they really think that "tech companies" just have a database that holds all of the encryption keys that we use when we are on a secure connection? Are our leaders so inept that they can't even consult experts to explain how asymmetric cryptography works?
It honestly heats me up so much that all these "leaders" and the media are talking about encryption when they're not even bothered to Google for 5 seconds what encryption. And the thing is, nobody is the wiser.
I have his phone number, not sure if privacy stuff like this is allowed on 4chan im new, but im just asking, for free, how would i be able to do this if i have his cell phone number.
How do you pitch an app idea to a tech company like Google?
My idea is an upgrade to Google maps or any other GPS service. If I can't pitch it I would need to hire people to develop it.
I'm not very tech savvy, would my employees need to build the frame work for a GPS from scratch or is the already existing infrastructure to use legally ?
Just found a PS4 software bug.
>Go to home screen.
>Run game, and close Netflix app.
>PS4 now becomes unresponsive, and won't restart.
>Requires hard shut down.
welp gg Sony
How does this make you feel /g/
What will you do when data caps are the standard?
What phone should i get I'm just wondering
My computer is old, It wasn't top of the line when I got it, and its finally just shitting out on me.
If I got more ram, upgraded the processor, and put in a better cooling system, do you think my setup can be salvaged? Or should I retire the old maid and build myself a new computer?
Can no longer handle having things like DOTA and skype running at the same time, gets really hot, things like that.
I've been through and dusted everything with a brush and airblower, which helped the temperature a bit, but I've had it crash due to heat before (which makes me feel like I'm being mean to it).
I'd like to think if I just bought more memory and put in a new fan it would be good as new, but as someone who is only tech savvy as long its just grandma asking how to turn...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yfjzJx Hows my first time build /g/?
Ditch the psu for a higher wattage. And im gonna let you know right now that ram is too tall if you use that heat sink get low profile ram like regular ram without heat spreaders or some thing like hyper x fury ram
Basically a new thread from
You niggers must accept
Only the masterrace downlods and rips FLAC's and or lossless codecs and converts them to the masterrace opus vorbis muspack sound if they are faggots and listen to music on their "smart"phones
150MB/s 1TB HDD vs 120GB 250MB/s SSD?
What would /g buy for same price?
>Want to play this in a PC
Is this possible?
(I already ve a decent keyboard, mouse, monitor)
Going to get bachelor's degree in computer science this june.
I have to choose the direction I'm gonna go.
I already found company that gives practice they work in .NET framework
also another company for practice in web programming (PHP).
There is also one in Qt framework (C++)..
So many options I don't know what to do, I only know I don't wanna do mobile apps.
I live in eastern europe so they are not well paid
I hate .NET. I really hate it. And I'm going to tell you, go for that job. The php job will make you into a code monkey at best, and glorified tester at worst. The Qt job sounds awesome, but you'll probably be stuck writing crud DB interfaces day on and day out, and never do anything but basic UI work. C# job won't be much better, but there's a chance it will be.
Yeah pretty much this.
