I'm fucking sick and tired of my 7850s in crossfire. They can't do anything well. Should I get a 980 ti? or is there better for the money?
there's a reason why i said forward-looking
it depends on if OP wants to look ahead a few months or just play games now
Why aren't you using a 486DX2?
I like playing Quake in buttery smooth cinematic 24 fps so I need my Pentium 90
Don't even think about buying this if it goes on sale.
How can you tell if your capacitors go bad?
FOSS loses again :(
I was given an acer s56ca-bh51-cb from my brother because he changed a setting in the bios, and then it refused to boot. However, it isn't dead
>Hit power button
>CPU fan comes on, HDD spins up, Screen backlight light turns on but screen displays nothing
>No beeps. No booting into windows. No bios logo. Nothing
>Tried attaching to external monitor, shows nothing.
Where I got with trying to fix it myself, I disassembled it, tried disconnecting...

I've been using Linux Mint for about 3 months now. Why would anyone bother with a lower level Linux OS, when Ubuntu and similar distributions are much more widely supported?
Share what Linux OS you use, and why.
ChromeOS, it came on my chromebook, it does all i need it to do.
Its easy and tinkering with it is fun.
Im currently trying to learn how to delete one partition and expand another with fdisk.
your daily reminder that if you block ads you are stealing the money news sites are entitled to or else they will go bankrupt
It's my computer so I will determine what I do with it, not a corporation. Sorry if that makes them bankrupt. The burden is on them to figure out how to run a successful business, not on me.
Any reason why I shouldn't buy one of these bad boys used over an i5 or even an i7?
Do they overclock well?
The qBittorrent "STALLED" & "I/O ERRORS" memes are simply just that, memes. In my relatively short history of using qBT (about 4y), I have never experienced the memes that people so often complain about whenever qBT is mentioned. This may be attributed to my being on a real OS (GNU/Linux), but from what I've read on the Github issues page, most of it is just PEBCAK and misconfiguration anyway.
Do you have a homepage /g/ ?
>Shitty, useless homepage filled with shitty quotes
>none of the google nexus phones have sd slots
>google explained this because they think people get confused about how sd cards work
>they also stopped making their batteries easily removable
its like they want to avoid saying their entire gimmick is to keep you from keeping the phone for more than 1-2 years
>Hear about Crimson
>Get cleanup utility
>Clear PC of Catalyst and drivers
>Do clean Crimson install
>Heard about fan issues so keep an eye on the fans for the first few days
>They're fine, revving up the heat goes up and everything.
>Think cool its stable
>Randomly PC just starts crashing into a black screen, audio goes on for a few seconds than freezes as well
>Happens a couple times
>Everything works fine again
So what the actual hell is wrong with Crimson that its breaking GPUs?
And apparently I'm one of the lucky ones because reading around a lot of people after experiencing same type of crashes I have were unable to uninstall Crimson or reinstall catalyst.
Werks on My Machine
just realized i havent had my PC or any games crash a single time since i've installed crimson
How can I change the this?
After being banned from all of Node.js, he was then banned from the entirety of Github, for nothing but eggplant emojis that certain people considered "phallic"? What the fuck.
