Every time me and my family leave for a trip, we get my moms kinda poor friend that helps clean our house, watch our dogs for money. Every time she stays, her son/nephew come over and get on my computer to watch porn. I am planning to scare the fuck out of them. I installed teamviewer and can access my pc off of my laptop. What are some good sites I can use to deter them from ever touching my pc again? (gore, spam, creepy sites, etc.)

Install linux.
>Install a virtual machine and leave it in fullscreen for them to fuck around with.
>disable mousing in host, just have mouse it in vm.
This should make sure the dumbshits can't fuck with your host.
>leave webcam recording in host to get their reactions.

What was the first computer you ever had for yourself?
iPhone 5S
Pentium 4 with a PNY Geforce 2, 800 MBs of RAM and two 400 MB HDDs
Something like that.
I was the raddest kid on the block.

IBM Thinkpad R50e, bought in 2009 from my brother when I was 14.
>1.6 GHz Pentium M
>512 megs of RAM
>30 GB hard drive
That's all folks. Let my little sister use it and she dropped it and fucked up the hinges. Gave it to her later and it worked until 2012. I gave her my 2013 Toshiba and now I have a Dell Inspiron with dedicated graphics, and a nice custom desktop PC.

Are anti virus programs a meme?
what's a "meme" in this context?
>>52028960
meme means "do not take my post seriously"
Bitdefender is actually legit, but the price makes it a meme
norton is so pathetic it's almost sad
"free" antivirus programs are litterally advertisement.exe
This is what you can expect from a Windows tablet /g/.
Why don't you turn to the other side?

Wtf is that mess
This is a $300 core M Windows tablet (cube i7 stylus)
I wanna upgrade my GPU and monitor for some 144hz on a WQHD display.
Is now a decent time to spend my money? I'm conscious of the fact that a GPU refresh is coming sometime next year. Should I hold out for like 6 months?
If I do buy now is the gsync/freesync meme worth it? I like the look of the Eizo FS2735 but I'm not sold on getting a compatible AMD card over an Nvidia.

gaymen hardware should be on /v/, not /g/
>/g/ is for the discussion of technology and related topics.
>/g/ is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.
Buy a PS4. 90% of games don't look discernibly better due to console optimisation and the fact the tailor the game to terrible console specs, plus playing on a dedicated gaming device rather than hunched over a keyboard and mouse is worth it.
PCs are only for work and browsing, gaming on one is fucking stupid.
How does this make you feel?

Not surprised really.

Sounds great actually. Like it or not, Mint is the most used GNULinux distro. Period. And it's great to have a distro that is actually normie-friendly, lightweight and stable.
Gonna run the MATE version to see how customizable it actually is, merely out of curiosity.
>>52028821
Awesome, more people are finding uses for Linux everyday and its operating systems like this that are helping enormously.
who /cm13/ here?
I might flash it to my Samsung GS3 as I see they're supporting the device again on the nightly builds.
I tried to burn it on my Moto G (XT1068), but it was unusable.
I will try again in 1/2 weeks imo
Works perfectly well on xt1039.

Are you talking about the anime or manga?
My capacity for tolerating your opinions depends on this one fact.
Is there still any sense holding out on upgrading to Windows 10? My biggest problem when it came out was privacy; has that been resolved or is W10 still a gigantic botnet?
Resolved? It was never a bug to be resolved, it's an integral feature of W10 that you have no control over your computer.
>>52028318
Resolved from a user standpoint that it's effectively spyware. It just seems that nobody mentions it these days.
Is everyone already in 10? No Linux bros suggesting trying out Linux please. I've already been there.
Just call it cloud integration or some bullshit and be happy with it.
Or switch to something with a philosophy you agree with.>>52028318

* All binaries compiled as Position Independent Executables with stack smashing protection

You forgot, compiled entirely on MUSL, so no GNU C shit either. Pretty cool distro, m8. I wonder if there's a way to run OpenBSD on MUSL?

Were the AMD fx processors still competitive against haswell in price and performance?
I'm not talking about just gaming.
It's hard to beat an core processor for $149.
They definitely seem to be holding their own against Intel.
>>52027905
So are these benches legit? Can AMD outperform an I7 in some tasks?
Is there an Intel processor within a similar price range that can compete?
How close would the 4460 get?
Does anybody else have an odd interest in obscure technology? Feel free to post some.

I used KMSPico cause DAZ doesn't support UEFI boot.
