If you delete your Facebook account, how many of your "friends" would actually keep in touch with you by other means?
What's the point of the coaxial connections on power strips?
>tfw Windows will never look this good

What is the best computer configuration for a university student?
>cheap laptop/nice desktop in room

A laptop or tablet like a surface with long battery life and either a sick with screen and keyboard or a desktop computer.
Something portable with good battery life for mobile work and note taking and a decent desk setup for extended typing.
So today I finally removed my Windows 7 and looking to install some alternative OS on that partition. What should I install /g/? Presently pondering between FreeBSD or QubesOS.
You have 1/8th of a nanosecond to explain why you are not learning or programming in C# right now.
I could get the mid2014 rmbp for 600€

What email services does /g/ recommend?
Only other encrypted mail service is Tutanota. They have a good infrastructure BUT their servers are located in Germany. While Germany has pretty good laws when it comes to data privacy, we also all know how Merkel is loyal to the american BBC. If Obama wants the data, he will get the data.
Tutanota doesn't store any passwords at all though, so if you forget your password, you're fucked. Which is a good thing.
But if you have the necessary means, roll your own mail server.
My brother brought home an Nvidia Tesla K40 from his work after it was replaced in his workstation due to coil whine.
He doesn't have a need for it at home, but I don't know what to do with it, it doesn't have any output, how do you render games on it? Do you use the Intel HDMI output on the motherboard?
This thread is about watches.
I need to install linux to run Tensorflow with my GPU. What's a good distro?
>Inb4 Install gentoo
Ok /g/ i know this isn't my personal tech support so i came here with a more philosophical question.
My old HP laptop died a few months ago and i should by another one soon. I'm a poorfag, so my budget is quite low. I use PCs mainly for browsing (as everyone) but often i do graphic design, video editing, 3d and other heavy activities. I don't need a powerful laptop since i have a desktop for heavy tasks but a little bit of horsepower and a nice screen are welcomed.
So what do you think is better, a well made used once good laptop with it's high end...

Have you ever ironically bought a meme before?
