My cousin told me that he'll send away his old 'gaming' rig to me and I'm just wondering if this is a shitty gift or not. Also, I'd like to know of there are games that can run on high to ultra settings.

Just mounted my new gtx 970, great. Everything is in place, and when i boot up my pc, there is fucking white horizontal lines all over the screen. And when i switch back to my old card everything is fine. What should i do?
Any help with GPU problems?

I fell for the 1440p meme and bought a 27''/1440p monitor.
Everything is so small, I can barely read anything. Should I enable scaling (to 125%) or does that beat the purpose of 1440p?
