>Click buttons make a terrible spring noise just by touching them
>Scroll wheel sounds like a machine gun

>DPI feels like a mess
I bought it last week. Coming from a Razer Naga meme, this feels like a real mouse finally.
DPI control is really comfy also.

>>55435520
I have one and i like it. The only thing is of you leave it in the sun for a while the scroll sensor shits itself and starts scrolling down. Also the smooth scroll is meant to be fast.
How did they get the IP 1.3.3.7?

they paid for it
Bunch of skids
they bought it
>Install deb7 on old laptop
>no way of connecting it to internet
>want to use it as a DVD player
>try to install MPC or VLC through USB
>Both have a assload of dependencies
>Both don't offer a way to download all the dependency's at once for side loading via USB
Can anyone prove that last statement false?
1. Download the applications onto another computer running debian
2. Copy the /bin/ do the USB stick
3. Copy the programs onto old computer's /bin/
How do Macbooks (or Apple products in general) measure up in terms of their specs? Compared to other laptops/PCs
Unimpressively.
>>55435354
I suppose a better question would be what is better:
A ~1300 Macbook or a ~1300 Laptop
>>55435368
Laptop generally, by far.
Apple barely has any options for dedicated GPU. It's Intel Iris for most of their models.
How does /g/ protect there data
>>55435246
i put your penis in front of it and no one comes near it
Mostly by not leaving shit lying around. The aforementioned shit includes "information about my data protection methods." Loose lips sink ships.
By having nothing to hide.

Hi, I'd like to present this is a new thread idea, I'm generally too lazy to create threads(or maybe not enough autism?)
-What virtualization platform are you running?
-What are you using it for?
Looking into using KVM on proxmox for a file server for my local museum and archive. Never done this before, thoughts?
OP here, I have two systems
-Desktop
AMD fx8320, AMD r9 290, 16gb ram, 2x 128gb, 1x 256gb ssd's, 1x 1tb HDD.
-Server
AMD phenom 904(6 core), NVIDIA gtx 570, 8gb ram, x2 500gb, x2 300gb HDD's
I want a couple of cloud gaming vm servers. Additionally fileserver VMS
I'm unsure what to run on these systems, I've had them running proxmox but I found the UI lacking, tried EXSI but the UI is shit also (only windows support for vsphere)
I'm now looking at unRAID and windows server 2016 (now allows for pci-e pass through...

Proxmox is great and surprisingly stable. It has limited filesystem support, everything is focused around zfs.
Of course the filesystem support is there kernel side but their storage pools only support zfs, this could be my biggest consideration if theirs already data on disk, as they will have to be formatted as zfs.
Besides that, using devices via paravirtualised schi bus provided by virtio will give you near native disk and network speed on windows and Linux guests, its all managed via Proxmox web ui.

I installed a script in the terminal. I want to remove it. I don't know the path. I typed "git clone (url)" and this shit doesn't really do anything so I want to remove it.

Is this bait? If not, just find the folder and delete it.

Post up your collection of mods, addons, extensions, whatever, that makes this collection of YouTube morons more enjoyable to watch.
Mine are (i'm using firefox)...
1. YouTube+ Userscript
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/9932-youtube
Holy shit I love this Userscript. It totally de-fuckifies YT, by adding pop-out window when scrolling comments, gridding search results and sub channels, disabling autoplay up next, plus a bunch more configurable options.
2. YouTube Cinema Mode

You can get one of those programs that disable all the obscure telemetry stuff, but I hear microsoft will just re-enable it until you give in, so yeah, don't bother with windows 10 and hope vulkan gets big so you can stick with win7
I was tinkering around with 2 old signal amplifiers and was successfully able to get over the air signal from about 5 inches. I want to try to expand that range to something ALOT bigger, but know nothing about electronics. I was thinking about mabye repurposing an old microwave power supply, but i have no idea how these things work.
What I want to happen:
-not die from electric shock
-have a broadcast range of 100-500ft
-as little power draw as possible
-needs to be NTSC
Cool project OP. I would also like my own anise station in my house.
Be aware that you're breaking FCC/Federal law running an unlicensed TV station. This is also more >>/diy/
I'd limit it to 50-75 feet and reduce operating hours and frequencies to where no one would notice it. Check your cross channel interference and do research in your area as step 1. Legal is step 0.
Op here. I'm pretty sure 500 feet is the max legal transmission range for my state.
I too am interested in this
