Not sure what private trackers are all about?
Check out the wiki and update it yourself if you want more instead of complaining like a fucking faggot. https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Private_trackers

What's with all of those mismatched, ugly colors?
>>52129319
What? There's hardly any color there.
I'll just leave this here, in case someone wants to know how spring drives actually work.

Old thread has stagnated and turned into an anime discussion (not that I mind).
Post battlestations.
>tfw vendor says that item will be shipped within 1-3 business days and one day has passed already without the item being shipped
These guys sure like the thrill.

Should maybe downscale this a bit?
>>52125060
did you mount those shelves yourself?
did you buy a kit or diy? I really want to mount some wall-shelves up over my computer. It doesn't have to be too heavy duty, just enough to hold a few pounds of things.
>>52125060
I once waited 3 weeks for an album that had just came out and the record shop just kept saying "2-5 days" in the album page that whole time.
Off to sleep now I guess.
What is the best music player, and why is it black player?
Post your player of choice boys
>>52115536
iPod or Fiio.
Also stop listening music when you are out home asocial fuck.
Poweramp of course.
AIMP because I like it's playlist based interface and Opus support.
Decided to use Christmas gift cards to stuff some more RAM into this old beast. What old junk have the holidays blessed you with?
Also old tech thread.
Nothing sadly. I'd love an old laptop like that to fuck around with though.
>>52114335
Picked it up at a surplus sale for $5. I'm sure that you could find something decrepit to breathe life back into if you look around at local shops or ask around.
>>52114315
I scored a loaded Precision T7400 a little before christmas along with some nice P6 workgroup servers.
Debating between throwing some christmas cash into a set of memory risers and a Quadro FX 4600 for it or a Palm Tungsten T/T3 to replace my E2.
Upload your desktop.
Deal with it

>Quake 2
Best Quake. Good taste.
>all those thousands of hours spent in Q2DM1 practicing trick jumps
You can do a circlejump from the grenade launcher above the elevator to the middle entrance of the megahealth room.
Takes a lot of practice, but it works.
This was huge for duels/clanwars.

So, I'm considering in getting I3 or FX.
Not sure which i3 should get, but I'm thinking about i3-4150
Not sure about FX too, but I'm thinking about FX-6300
Price limit is up to 120 euros for CPU.
So I ask your advice.
I don't want after buying it be like "FUCK, x CPU sucks, I wish I could change that to other one."
imo i3 has nice upgrade path, and AMD is kinda outdated.
AMD has very nice overclocking.
I would use it for gaming, Arma 2, War Thunder, Project Zomboid, Total war and etc.
Maybe playing around with Unreal...

For games, the i3 is a clear winner.
You're paying a premium though, but that's mainly because there's no competition

what's the iptables rule to block a LAN device like 192.168.0.40 from accessing to any IP other than 8.8.8.8 (or from 0.0.0.0 to 8.8.8.7, then 8.8.8.9 through 255.255.255.255)

Rate my strrev implementation.void strrev(char *str)
{
int i = strlen(str) - 1;
int j = 0;
register char c;
while (i > j)
{
c = str[i];
str[i] = str[j];
str[j] = c;
j++;
i--;
}
}
Sup /g/, the other night I was browsing the web, went downstairs and when I came back my PC was off. Checked fuses and tried to start it, but it won't turn on. The light on the mobo is still on so I'm ruling out MOBO and cpu attempts to spin for a second.
Just got a new PSU and plugged everything back in, same problem. Ram is new and I don't think it's HDD failure because I've had harddrives fail before and the PC would still turn on to a black screen.
What else can I try to do?
Wow, I had the same problem, it looks like it's.....
Fuck off.

So... Ian Murdock's death.
What does the linux/gnu/tech anon's think of this.
I've been speculating for a while after reading some articles (mostly blogs and forums) that Ian has been a target of NSA bribery for a few years at least.
Do you think the NSA is involved in his death? Possibly relating to his refusal to implement a backdoor in the Debian codebase?
The twitter rants sound a little fake and weak to me.
NSA could have done it, but why is a mystery to me
