Any tips/advice for us newbie's getting into programming? To be specific I am learning HTML/CSS & Javascript to build sites and possibly other things. I completed HTML/CSS & Javascript courses on CodeCademy and now I am on Free Code Camp currently going through that. What are your thoughts? I am 20 years old and I am poor, so material has to be free. If I can earn money from coding I'll invest it into learning more if possible.

So you want to learn programming?
You will need to pick a starting language. You will learn more later, but for beginners, there are generally two recommended "programming families" that you can choose to start learning:
-Dynamic programming languages, such as: Python, Perl, Ruby, Lisp
-Structured programming languages, such as: C, C++, Java, C#
These are amongst the most popular languages in use worldwide, including 4 from the top 5. Both approaches are perfectly fine, and well-documented.
-Dynamic programming may be a bit more suitable for those who need their programs to do heavy mathematics, and thus it is more popular in academia.
-Structured programming is a bit more suited for making general applications, and thus it is more popular in industries.
If you cannot decide, flip a coin.

How do I make it give me a fucking randomized sentence?
Make sure your random number is less than or equal to your array size.
You're casting the random number to an int before it's multiplied by the array length so it just floors to zero each time. Stick some brackets round the multiplication and it works
(int) (Math.random()*selectedArray.length)
There have been threads about this before, but I'd never encountered it using uBlock.

I only use burner accounts
YubiKey for my SSH connections, but sadly other services I use rarely support it, so I have to resort to apps like the Google Authenticator, email or SMS text messages.
Two factor those services I care about that support it. If not I probably don't care much about it and just use a strong password from keepass anyway.
I should get a yubikey though, would be kind of nice having something like that.

How do I find the IP address to my remote computer? I was using the 192.168.x.x and stupidly forgot to get the actual ip address now that I'm stuck across town. I remember facebook and doodle would show prior logins, but when I tried this its now dumbed-down and only gives the city location. I don't think this makes a difference, but the remote machine I'm connecting to is running FreeBSD.

Hey /g/, I need to know if there is an app out there for android that can monitor the network activity of the phone?
My car insurance company is putting out an app that makes you save money by spying on how you drive.
Since I drive like an asshole I will never get rebates but I was thinking that if I edited the host file and captured what is sent to their server and edit the shit they send out, then send it out, I could make my way into a rebate. I have just moved from Chrome to Yandex Browser, its pretty good so far because it changes the syncthing with Google account to my Yandex one, that is what I use and I can use the same addons here: uBlock Origin and Chameleon plus Stealth Mode (made by Adguard). Can I trust this browser more than I can trust Chrome?
