I own an old i5 2500 and I want to either upgrade my pc or buy a new one.
Does it make sense to buy the i5 4460? Would there be a big difference?
Or would it bottleneck with one of the cards I am considering (r9 390, 380x, 970)?
>>52171701
Read the sticky or kill yourself, faggot.
>>52171701
That CPU is still perfect, it will not bottleneck any card currently on market. Keep your money OP, ypu are still good to go.
>>52171701
Goto microcenter and get a i7-4790k. They sell it for $250.
hurry up before intel artifically increases haswell prices again.

new king of /g/?
No. He does not even write free software.
>>52171460
No he ain't even a Aussie that dissasembles old tech up to the ram chips and builds clocks from scratch.

Nah man he just trying to have a nice life with the least work possible.
It brings both good and bad things from him an its painfully obvious.
How do I opt-out of the Windows 10 botnet features? You know, the ones that are still active even after you turn everything off.
remove windows10 from your harddrive you anime shitlord
install windows 8.0
What is the lamest piece of technology you can think of, /g/?
Anything made by Apple:
1. Wait for months or years to see what tech will be trending
2. Reinvent same piece of tech and strap your logo on it
3. Do not forget to prioritise design over usability
4. Triple the price, let your zealous customers buy it and praise it

Also if you choose to minimize windows into app icon, you will no longer have previews of any kind and it causes a bug (present in 10.11.1) with activity monitor (when it won't open after you "close" it with close button)

I don't see a problem here

It essentially minimizes it, the program keeps running in background.

Stop making these threads, we already know you're retarded
Got given this for Christmas.
I'm going to take it back for a better set of bluetooth speakers. What do?
>>52171112
Why? Just take it back and pocket the money
buy jbl xtremes they are nice
Don't take it back.
It is a gift, presumably from someone who thinks something of you.
It doesn't matter if it isn't what you want, it doesn't matter if it isn't what you hoped for. Someone said "Hey, Anon likes music doesn't he? He'd probably really like this!" and bought you an expensive gift in the hopes that it would bring you happyness.
Are they broken? Do they not work? No they're absolutely fine you say? Then use them you fucking ungrateful little shit.
Hey /g/. My neighbours asked for my wifi password and I gave it to them. How can I control them? See what they're viewing and view their info?

how does it feel?
You don't need anything better than a Phenom II quad core and a mid range GPU.
Unless you're doing some heavy rendering.

Currently sitting here waiting (not too hopeful) on getting the password to a wpa2 network. Using a word list packed with kali linux called "rockyou" after capturing the handshake.
Does anyone on /g have:
-a wordlist with more passwords in a format that Australian ISPs use (optus, telstra, etc) or;
-know the general format and content of these passwords (if the randomly generated ones have numbers, letters, upper/lowercase) since that would save heaps of time is they some are like
&l&l&l&n&n&n where &l is letter and &n...

You are using the amazing battery tech already.

An Xperia Z3 can go a week with moderate usage on a good rom.
