At this point there is no rational reason to pay monopoly rent to Microsoft.
Windows is NOT technology.

Should have bought a better pump anon.
Also, that tube routing is a fucking disgrace.
>>52198034
Probably none. Much more elegant and future-ready solution though. Might be able to squeeze a couple extra hundred MHz out of it if you're willing to up the voltage a bit. Looks pretty good.
What years do you actually have the fondest memories of in terms of using tech?
When was using a PC actually still filled with wonders and fun for you?
Mid 2000s probably, but I find '90s tech much more exciting in hindsight. Everything felt so over-engineered, lots of tech still had personality, OEMs weren't afraid to experiment in desperate bids to control the market.

Probably back in high school, worked in an electronics store, still enjoyed video games, had more interest in programming.
The more I learned about computers the less enthusiastic I was, kind of lost the magic in college.

I still use jetaudio and jetvideo as primary Audio and video players.

You can use aria2 to torrent... Do people know that? Why do you guys use clients if you only torrent on occasion? Whats the purpose of a client compared to an all purpose download tool?
daily reminder linux does fuck all to protect against cpu microcode backdoors
Security in linux in general is a joke. Linus' attitude towards security may have been acceptable and easy to work around a decade ago but is seriously out of touch now. You can't so easily dismiss it as tinfoil type fears anymore. Governments and private businesses rely now more than ever on maintaining secure systems filled with personal data.

I'm in Miami so I might just have my guard up high. Sitting at the bar some dude came up and placed his cell phone next to mine and asked to watch it while he was in the bathroom. I said sure not thinking anything of it. When he came back I noticed he had shorts with pockets and started acting all sketchy. I asked him a few questions and he started talking jibberish with a dumb smirk like a clown. I finished my drink and bounced. After mulling it over I looked through my settings and NFC was left on.
Anyways, what the fuck was this faggot up to? Do I need to wipe...

Hello /g/
How would one go about going through TOR and then a VPN on a Tails installation?
Would be handy to be able to hide the fact that one uses TOR, while still using it.
>>52196148
>How would one go about going through TOR and then a VPN on a Tails installation?
What? You just install tails then tor and do through a VPN. Are you stupid?
>>52196280
That's not exactly the case. That would cause VPN -> TOR -> internet.
I want TOR -> VPN -> internet.
You should use obfuscated bridges. Look that up.
So I spilled red bull on my retina mac pro.. and now some of the keys don't work. I have apple care, but I haven't paid the chase loan they gave me in a couple months. I'm scared if II take it to the apple store they'll keep the laptop if they realize I haven't paid.
Any way I can fix it myself?
probably not.
> I have apple care, but I haven't paid the chase loan they gave me in a couple months. I'm scared if II take it to the apple store they'll keep the laptop if they realize I haven't paid.
Why on earth would you get apple if you don't have tons of money to waste? You could have gotten even better hardware much cheaper and just intalled os x on it.
Apple is for people who solve computer probems by buying a new computer. That is the apple way of handling it because there are no real spare parts and it's made...

Rinse the laptop. Macbooks are good at withstanding water. They're made at the same factory as thinkpads.
