I'm concerned, /g/.
Current blu-rays usually have the capacity of up to 50gb, which is plenty of space for a full hd movie of high quality compression. But the new standard worries me. 4k will not only quadruple the filesize by itself, which should just about fill up the 100gb (which is the maximum specification, there are lesser variants) provided by the UHD Blu-ray. But then what? They have implemented support for an expanded color gamut and hdr, but where is the space for that? Are you telling me they're going to compress muh videos more than blu-rays did? Are...

also disks are dead technology
Best quality will ironically come from streaming I bet. Google Fiber is expanding, etc

won't be implemented in wide film releases. The standard supports up to 100gb.
Also, what's a better alternative? streaming? The avg. broadband speed in the us is 20mbps

Is anyone able to post on 4chan using Firefox? It was working for me yesterday but the city was some maintenance and there so no power from 9am until 5pm and when I got back on and tried posting when using Firefox pic related keeps happening. The only way I can even post right now is by using Internet Explorer but I hate using it.

Posting from Firefox right now. Sorry about your malware, Sanjay.
I wasn't able, but If you downgrade your browser to 42.0 , it will work fine.

To update it without running their annoying ad-serving installer, just drop the utorrent.exe into your utorrent directory.
Been working for me the past couple of years.

/g/, how should I go about cleaning mouse urine and roach casings from a computer?
I live in a house that's currently infested with both mice and roaches (tfw poor as fuck) and the PC was a gift from a friend, and I opened it up just now and was horrified at what I saw.
I know what to do so I don't carry roaches/mice over to my next place, but I don't know how to get rid of the residual pest gunk.

Yup, currently using it.
Doesn't seem like anything's on the board, but the bottom of the case and top of the power supply (since the PSU is mounted on the bottom) look like an absolute nightmare.

VS uses a lot of the Windows system so the percieved ram usage is low, Java on the other hand needs to set up the entire environment and thus the high ram usage.
