Why is this website so fucking ugly?
Obviously the original was too oppressive to women wanting to learn computer. Right?
Ive honestly seen more anti-feminists fall for trolls than I've seen actual feminists fall for them.
Like, really, try harder.

Is your rig ready for vr?
You gonna pre-order tomorrow?
Is your computer windows 10 ready?
>You gonna pre-order tomorrow?
VR is technology anon, not all of us are playing gaymes on it.
How do you expect us to fuck our 3d waifus if we don;t have VR headsets?
>be an unemployed web developer/designer working on his portfolio

That's poor man's OS X right there.

adobe software. i happen do designing on those occasions when i get some freelance work. i also use ms one note for project management and ms one drive for storing my projects on the c-c-c-c-c-cloud. i would be perfectly happy with ubuntu or fedora if they had these things.
So is there a way for me to run 11 year old software on windows 8.1?
Go to http://i.imgur.com/SMRHIkg.gifv and see if you can download it as a webm. Used to be able to, now it only allows you to save as a gifv. Why are they forcing their proprietary and shitty format on the web?
>and see if you can download it as a webm.
I do, I just have to wget the corresponding URL.
>Why are they forcing their proprietary and shitty format on the web?
That's not even a format, that's a HTML page that automatically either loads a webm or a mp4 depending on your browser
>this is what you get when you open a downloaded gifv
fair enough, if you do a wget it works. They redirect if you try to go through the browser though
>people still hate on Gnome 3
>people still hate on Ubuntu
>people still hate on Linux in general
This is fucking comfy, I don't get all the hate
Just tore apart an old gateway, salvaged the power supply, disc drive, wifi card, and hard drive (reform for dual boot later). This is what remains of the discarded frame and mobo. Also tech torture thread.
So my ex is being a huge bitch and keeps texting because she knows she can't be blocked there. I've tried contacting my service provider but they claim that it's impossible to block texts with currently existing technology. I don't know phones all that well but something tells me that's bullshit. I'm using a Moto G, running android lollipop and my messenger is the default one with the green smiley square. What do?
Are you on Android 6.0 yet /g/?
Is there a way to scrobble my music from mpc hc/be to lastfm, like vlc does? This is honestly the only reason holding me back to a complete switch.
inb4 use foobar/other crap
I want a single software to play all my media
Fuck, I love LEDs.
They're so pretty.
Let's be a little autistic together in this thread.
LEDs are fine but nothing beats that orange glow of neon.
Looking for software that will permanently block all porn even f I delete the program, do you know of any? I've only been able to find shit I have to pay for.
Only real effective way to do this is on the router. There are some that would be able to tap into a list of domains. Or you can use opendns which can block by keyword but it's going to be very hit and miss just in case you look up anatomy.
Anyone else here running Trisquel? If not, why not?
Posting on my librebooted ThinkPad X200.
Recently watched Ex Machina, and it got me thinking. (fuck zuckerberg)
Thought about what it would take to control things in my home with only my voice. IE: "Lights". "Turn on the TV" "Lock the doors" "It's cold in here, turn up the heat"
What would be a good starting point? Raspberry PI? Android Studio?
