I've got a 6600k running at 4.5GHz with 1.35V. However, it idles at 40 degrees with my Noctua NH-D15, where my ambient is around 20 degrees (room temperature). It is however quite silent, and I like it like this. Is this temperature safe / not harmful?
Why use GNU/Linux?
Do you know a program that lets you track the dialog window of a specific program directly in the RAM and generate an hex dump? I'm trying my best with Immunity Debugger but I can't figure it out yet.
I wanted to track this window by the way (see pic), because I don't read moon so I was trying to copy and paste the text in google translate.
I want to use it for other things in the future too not just this dialog window, so don't tell me to ask in >>>/int/jp because the translation...

i hate my job. its my first job after graduating CS. i'm in florida, there's barely any tech scene. the job is titled software developer, but we dont even use a real programming language, the dev environment is basically like FoxPro. its shit and runs like shit and everything i make in it is shit. i dislike my coworkers and almost everyone in the company. i've been trying to apply to out-of-state jobs to try and get out for this entire past year with no luck in landing anything. i'm considering just quitting and moving since i have savings,...

/g/ What do you archive? Games, Music, Programs, etc...?
Why do you archive? & Ease of having it there when you need it? Feeling superior to others by having more 1s & 0s?
How do you archive? Any guidelines you follow?
& A follow up question, would you be interested in a website that that specialized in categorization of all that data?
Actually have tons of backups. Sad thing is, I don't label them.

Why the fuck is the QC on Acer + ASUS' 144-165Hz G-Sync IPS monitors so abysmal?
>pic semi-related
I've been through both a PG279Q and an XB271HU and they've both had issues w/ dust and dead pixels. Whoever they're getting these panels from needs to be shot.
>>52358546
I have a PG279Q and love it. I realize I got lucky with no dead pixels or bleeding.
>>52358627
I'm genuinely surprised, you must be incredibly lucky. Everywhere I check I hear people bitching about that monitor and it's BLB and color uniformity issues. Apparently ASUS attaches the panels like shit which causes tons of issues.
>>52358546
I feel you anon.
Had the same issue with the mg279q (freesync alternative) went through 4 monitors. Decided I didn't want to deal with this shit and just bought a freesync lg ultrawide. Great monitor for the price with the exception of backlight bleed.
talk me out of it /g/.
